This is a cute little printer. Not fancy or expensive. We do not want wireless everything in our house, so these printers are the perfect option. We are a homeschool family and we work from home as well; everyone has their own workspaces so this was the perfect health-conscious option for us. We try and hardwire as much as we can. Having too much wireless radiation and EMF/EMR at a workstation makes it difficult for kids to concentrate (adults too). Plus it's quite damaging to the body and mind. Finding wired products is becoming increasingly difficult, unfortunately. We were very happy to find these. They print well. The ink that comes with each printer doesn't last long but the refills seem to be a lengthier run. They are not overly big and are light weight. They fit in the roll out drawer of a roll top desk. And at the side of student desks without taking up too much space. Overall, great product.

Thank you a million times over, Canon, for our new all-in-one color printer / scanner that arrived extremely well packaged with black and color ink cartridges, electric wire, USB cable, clear instructions, a user manual that covers every topic imaginable & easy to understand, and a CD that seamlessly set up our standard & laptop PCs' Windows 7 connectivity when the USB cable was hooked up per instructions after the CD .exe files were installed. It's small, light weight, prints quickly, the color is great, and the price is very reasonable. Due to client security concerns, we can not use Windows 10 or 11 & due to our very rural location, we can not use WIFI ... both of which are required by every color printer we looked at when our former one had to be replaced. If reviewers are looking for a Windows 7 or 8 or other older Operating System, we highly recommend checking out this Canon PIXMA MG2522 color printer. We absolutely love it!!!

Extremely noisy!! Prints good so far.

This is a basic computer that meets my needs. It is not wireless, which is good for me because it is simpler to use and is more reliable . I needed help to install it and get it synced to my computer because it comes witha CD to install and my computer doesn't have a CD slot so that was a problem. Since I'm pretty lame at tech stuff, I had someone who knows more than me to get it set up. The price was really low, all things considered and works well right now.

I use this printer with an Apple iMac. This is probably the second or third one of these Canon printers that I have bought. I like them because they are lightweight with a scanning function and printing function. The ink is a bit pricey. This printer will only last so long (that's what happened with the first two). All of a sudden, it just quits working after several years. Then, I just buy another one. I was able to dispose of the last one at the local recycle center. They seemed glad to take it.

I have an older computer thats now unable to go online. Purchased the Canon wired printer so I could install needing to use the internet. Very easy to instal, prints clear, and is fast compaired to my old printer. I'm Very pleased with the product! ….Also, I just purchased a second one as a back up for when this one dies, because small compact wired printers are hard to find.

First off, I do like this printer once we were able to set it up, but the installation failed several times and I was on the verge of sending it back for a refund. The instructions were not very clear so I will elaborate on the steps that actually worked.Remove the orange plastic thingy on the printerPlug the printer into the power supply and turn onInsert the ink cartridges, color on the left and black on the rightInsert paperDO NOT PLUG IN USB TO COMPUTER YET!!!Either run the disc for installation or go to the canon website for installationGo through the tutorial until it installsDuring installation it will prompt you saying it doesn't detect the printer, at this time plug the usb from the computer to the printer.Voila....it will prompt you for an alignment and to test a scan and you are good to go.If you were like me and had the USB plugged in prior to installation the detect will take forever then eventually fail. If this happens go to your device manager and uninstall the printer. Then unplug the usb and reinstall following my directions above. Took me a few hours to figure out, so hopefully yours goes smoother with my advice.

We live in a remote Rocky Mtn. area where sometimes the internet is down. I finally got so tired of it that I bought this printer so that when that happens I can still print. It's wired, therefore not dependent on what the iffy internet is doing (or not doing). So far it's working out perfectly. I ditched my wireless printer.
