Great shelf
This shelf is the best thing I have purchased for my workbench. It is well-made and has grooves that fit perfectly into the back lip of my bench so it is stable. the holes for my tools are not uniform, so I would change that and make them a little larger so things stay in place, but other than that, I am really happy with it. It is unfinished so you can finish it to match the finish on your bench,

Well designed and well manufactured
After reading other reviews I dreaded assembling this shelf. There must have been great improvements in manufacturing over the last couple of years because my shelf went together easily with all screw holes aligned and the metal band strongly attached and ready for use. The holes drilled into the bottom shelf don't seem very useful to me but I planned on using the shelf for other things anyway. This is an efficient and stable design and I am so glad I ordered it. Can't wait to stain and seal it so I can put it to work.

Poor Quality. Requires re-engineering and modification.
Not well made at all. When the package arrived the metal rail on the front was detached. There are standoffs ever few inches which are made of 3/4" dowels. They were "glued" in place with what looks like elmers glue. It had dried and the entire thing was dislodged. Assembly was further impaired by the fact that none of the dado cuts or pre drilled and counter sunk holes lined up as they should. Mind you, these are all relatively easy to fix if you are mechanically inclined, however, It was frustrating. To add insult to injury, when fully assembled, the item wasn't square, thus it would not sit flush on the bench top. Also easily remedied. Once squared and leveled (thank god for spoke shaves and flush cut saws) the unit sits well on the bench. Now, there are two notches cut into the outside risers. These are allegedly cut into the risers to allow you to "hang" the shelf ob the back rail of you bench. As my bench has no back rail, I cut a piece of mdf peg board and screwed it to the back of the unit, then to the back of my bench, thus ensuring the unit remains square, and in place. I used the cut outs to run the power, and networking cables for my bench top computer and my flex shaft motor. I mounted a surge protector to the peg board thus giving me a "Master Kill Switch" for my flex shaft, pc, stereo scope and lighting. In summation, if you're willing to re-engineer this thing, then buy it. The price is right when compared to purchasing the raw materials and time taken to manufacture it. If you don't want to do that, then avoid this thing at all cost.

im really glad i ordered this. it really helps organize. you will have to buy screws for it and change out the couple screws that are in it. cheaply made b, but really handy once you put it together. im satisfied!

Very functional and easy to assemble
This came in four pieces (the metal bar for the pliers was already attached to the shelf), with pre-drilled holes for assembly, slots in the sides for the shelves, and eight screws. It took me less than ten minutes to assemble and I'm very happy with the quality of the product. I didn't need the notches in the back for attaching it to a bench with a back lip, but their presence doesn't pose an issue.

Stay away
Price of junk. Wood is all splintery, arrived without enough screws to assemble, and also arrived broken in two places. Now one of those things would be fine, however I paid for a tool holder and received broken pieces of wood I can not assemble because I did not receive enough screws and do not have any extra on hand. Avoid this product. Avoid this seller, I know I will in the future

Too expensive for quality
Was looking forward to receiving this shelf particularly for storage of jewelery making pliers. This item was a real disappointment: poor quality raw pine wood (not even a coat of varnish), wood has knots where screws attached to other pieces, so difficult for screws to anchor. If used for mostly pliers, it tips over; had to balance by placing heavy items on top. I don't recommend purchasing this shelf; good design; poor execution/qua;ity. It most certainly isn't worth $71.46.

Great for the price!
Great for organizing your craft space! I’m still waiting on my work bench to arrive but if it’s anything like this shelf, I’m gonna be so excited!! The wood was a little damaged when I received it, but it doesn’t bother me. Can’t wait to finish my new set up!
