My Go-To for Modern Calligraphy!
I’ve been using the Nikko G nib for years, and it’s the only one I feel truly comfortable with for modern calligraphy. It delivers consistently smooth, precise lines every time! Why I Love It:✅ Reliable & Smooth: Glides effortlessly on paper without snagging.✅ Perfect for Modern Calligraphy: Great flexibility while still being easy to control.✅ Durable: Lasts a long time without losing its fine point.✅ Always Delivers! Been using it for a small gift for my co-workers, and it performed beautifully every time!If you’re into modern calligraphy, especially modern styles, the Nikko G is a must-have! Can’t recommend it enough—it never disappoints!

Ink distribution is great
Love these nibs. They are clearly high quality nibs and you can tell from the finish on the tips. Here’s a tip: use an alcohol wipe to “prep” the nib before dipping it into the ink pot, and fill the ink all the way to the hole in the center. Some people only do this the first time they use a nib to get that oil/resin off the initial first use. But I do this method every single time. I have researched and people say to stick it in a potato or spit on it….? But I like using the alcohol wipe method hahah.

Stiff, well-made nibs that weren’t the best choice for this Copperplate calligraphy beginner
These are heralded as the classic nibs for beginners. I wasn’t able to order them when I first started learning Copperplate. Instead, I used a Hunt-22 and later a Gillot. I was excited to receive these in the mail at a later date. I found them to be extremely stiff and I had to press hard but still wasn’t happy with the output. Still, they are very well-made and I don’t see any defects in the workmanship. I think they just don’t suit my style.

The ONLY dip-pen nibs I use!
Best value by far. These last way longer than other brands I've tried. They have all the great value and great performance of the G-pen nib, they don't rust easily, and they last longer than other G-pens I've tried. I ink nearly every day, for hours, and I get a good 2 weeks to a month out of ONE of these. Doing the math, that means I generally have to buy 2 of these 10-packs a YEAR. Which is a pretty darn good deal.I use mine with Tachikawa nib holders, but I've found that they also fit my Speedball crow nib holder. Which is odd, since everyone said that they don't fit. Maybe the Zebra ones don't fit, but these ones certainly do.

Very high quality. They produce consistent, predictable fine lines. Best nibs I've used. Great product.

Fantastic G pen nib
This is just a fantastic G pen nib. I've been using them for about 16 years, and the quality has always been top notch. They don't produce as fine of a hair line as a Tachikawa or Zebra, however they are softer than Tachikawa and a tad more controllable than Zebra for illustration purposes. You really can't go wrong with Nikko nibs (or Tachikawa or Zebra).
