Worth every penny
Great product which that does exactly what's needed for a fraction of the cost of other brands. Responsive control, I had this out to 100m and no issues. The only downside is the bait hopper stays up when used so tight snaggy areas are risky. But for the money I have no complaints.Good build quality.

Great for the price!
I bought this little bait boat for an upcoming trip to France. Now back from the trip I can finally write a meaningful review. What a little workhorse! It took my rig plus approx 1/2 kilo of particle out to my spots which were ~ 60 to 70 yards away and under overhanging trees time and time again on the same battery (I used 2 batteries for the full week). It performed almost as well as boats costing thousands (obs no gps!) You just have to avoid leaves and other debris which clog the prop and make steering tricky. Only problems were 1, hopper release catch screw became loose resulting in hopper not releasing (easily fixed) and 2. when the battery ran out there was no advanced warning.I summary, a great little boat for the price!

Used once but worked fine 🙂 only one down side
Quite easy to use once I got the hang of it. I managed to figure out how to get it to come back to me hands free as this was not in the user guide. Basically you point the boat where you want it to return to and manually start the forward motion and once its moving press the button on the back of the remote and it will then continue in the direction you have chosen hands free. Please note you will have to press the back button again once it back near land otherwise it will just keep going. It does give you a little bit of time to sort your rod out. The only down side I have noted is the actual bait dispenser. Be mindfull if you go under low hanging trees or bushes as the boat loaded with bait may easily fit in this hard to reach spot, however once you deploy the bait dispenser which flips up vertically it then remains in the upwards position. I nearly got mine stuck as the bait dispenser then snagged on the bushes above. Thankfully I did manage to get it out without having to get into the wet stuff. This downside did then limit spaces i could get into when the dispenser was down in its loaded position. Just a shame that the dispenser does not return to its loaded position once its ejected the bait. But taking this into account and the cost I was still able to get to places that you simply could not cast too without catching a tree. It did what I needed it to do so I'm happy overall. I don't use bait boats and this is my first one as I prefer to cast to my desired location. But on this particular lake where the fish hold up under the trees along the bank.

Watch out for blanket weed getting tangled in the propellers
I use this boat mainly to find the general whereabouts of fish in a lake or canal with a sonar fishfinder. The range and battery life are excellent. However, there are two main shortcomings which need mentioning.First, the boat's propellers soon stop functioning if they get entangled in blanket weed. If one propeller stops as a result of blanket weed, the boat will just go round in circles. Sometimes, I've managed to still get it back to shore by putting the boat into reverse but, more often, it sits there stranded until it gets blown by the wind into the shore. It is also very difficult to very difficult to remove the weed when it is tightly wound round the propeller axle. I now take a pair of tweezers with me in order to disentangle the weed from the propeller.Secondly, if the boat has discharged its load there is insufficient weight at the back to fully immerse the twin propellers at the back. This dramatically reduces the thrust and the propellers are even more prone to get caught in surface weed as a result. I have now attached a 500g weight on the back transom to counter-balance the excess buoyancy in this area and it significantly improves the boat's performance.
