Size and quality
I really like this coat. Light enough to wear in the summer. Folds up on back of saddle very nice and small. I’m 6’2” 220lb and fairly broad shouldered. I got the 2X and it fits wonderfully. You don’t want these things skin tight. Go bigger. I could even wear this in the winter with a heavy coat on. Good and heavy made. Much cheaper than oil skin too!

Good raincoat, but not the greatest quality stitching.
This raincoat fits great (I got a large) but the stitching quality is not the greatest. On my second wearing, I was putting my hands in the pockets, as it was a cold rainy day, and the right side pocket stitching ripped wide open. The material is not torn, just the stitching, so I can sew it back together, but now I feel I have to be gentle with the rest of the jacket. Otherwise this is a great raincoat and the length is right down to my shoe-tops.

IT WILL HAVE TO DO.....FOR NOW.
It's VERY hard to find a full length rain coat, for fishing.......IE: standing in the Florida driving summer rain on deck, with no cabin. Need protection from not only getting upper body wet, but short pants and legs. Believe me I've looked! So had to go to something like this. Not super perfect. But will work. The hood is kinda smallish, and snaps on separately which is not a "plus". But it's light weight enough for 100 degree flash flood rains in Florida during the summer. The length of time wearing it won't be all day, just minutes to a hour or so. It's got a vented back, which will help. ORDER B-I-G!!!!!I ordered the Extra Large and it's just barely. If you're in a hot climate, you'll want a very loose fit. Shipping from Sheplers Western Wear was dead-on, "I think it was delivered PONY EXPRESS!!!!!". USPS delivered, so that meant DHL dropped it off at the post office. Really goofy. The material is thin and seems to be strong, the zipper may last a few wears, and it has back-up plastic snaps that are very tiny and may work in a pinch.CANNOT FIND EXACTLY WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR IN A VERY LONG RAIN COAT, SO THIS WILL HAVE TO DO. WHY DOESN'T SOMEONE MAKE A SUPER LONG RAIN COAT THAT'LL LAST FOR YEARS, THATS LIGHT WEIGHT NOT FOR SITTING ON A SADDLE?? DON'T KNOW, BUT IF YOU'RE TIRED OF LOOKING. THIS MAYBE YOUR ALTERNATIVE.

Fits well
This product was ordered for my Dad to use on Trail Rides for those nasty weather days. It is perfect for the wet weather, as well as warm and comfy and stylish and sturdy.

Not for any sort of serious use
Upon initial inspection, this jacket doesn’t look like it will hold up to any use. It’s actually so thin that it’s see through. On the upside, it seems thin enough that you wouldn’t get hot during a summer rain. If you’re in a pinch and don’t have many thorns where you live, it may be alright for a few joy rides. However, if you’re looking at this for any serious work/riding through slightly rough country, I’d go with a Wyoming traders fish slicker or an outback packaroo if you want a hood.

Kept him dry.
Kept my cowboy dry when it counted and stowed away into saddle bag without taking up much space. My son really liked it.
