The back wonder works to stabilize the sacriliac joint that is repeatedly going out
I have tried several different SI belts for patients with sacroiliac instability causing low back pain and this has been the one that works. It is minimally obtrusive and has a non-slip design which is important because it has to stay in place to work. The elastic portion is strong enough to hold the SI in place which is aided by the second elastic bands to help adjust the tightness. It has to be worn for a few weeks all day every day to 'glue' the SI back into place and is comfortable enough to do that. Excellent overall design, comfort and durability.

Great for short durations.
The belt definitely makes a difference - once I knew how to use it. It comes with NO instructions. For me, it is a bit uncomfortable to wear for long as the belt is very wide and the front closure is VERY stiff. All the closures are velcro which can prove frustrating as it tends to 'grab' anything while getting it on. I'd purchased a medium and returned it for a small. Once I found out how to put it on, I would have done better to keep the medium.

I bought this (Backwonder), OPTP SI-LOC and Serola. I would recommend this one over Serola bcse it loops back for a snugger fit and it's cheaper. I use the OPTO when I swim, more streamlined - doesn't have the side belt parts. I sleep with the Backwonder and don't wear it during the day, I either pain-free or with less pain than if I sleep without it.

Not worth the price
This seems to be a hit or miss. Every time I put it on I’m wondering if I’m wearing it correctly. I put it around my hip bones but often times when I wear it for a couple hours it slides up around my lower back and tummy area and I have to keep pushing it down. It’s not the most comfortable thing either. I’ve worn it while on long walks and when sitting for long periods of time and it’s so uncomfortable it’s hard to tell if it’s making a difference in my SI joint pain or not. I’ll wear it occasionally for shorter periods when the pain is intolerable, and I guess it helps sometimes, but my physical therapy exercises for a couple minutes seem to ease the pain much better. Not worth it.

Didn't work for me
I had great expectations that this belt would work for me but it did not help with my problem. my SI joint tends to bother me most when I am sitting or lying down and this belt did not bring me any relief. Sadly I waited too long to return it. I'm not saying it is a bad product or cheaply made it just didn't work for me I'm happy for all those that it did work for though.

Best SI belt
I have SI joint dysfunction and have worn a belt for years. I needed a new one. I ordered one that was sized regular. It was way too big and was very stretchy material. I ordered this one which had different sizes. I got a small and it is perfect. The material is stronger and holds everything in place. I will continue buying this one, no need to buy anything else. The price was great!

It works!
I never thought this little belt would provide relief for my back pain - it looks so simple. However, it provided instant relief. The doctor gave me shots in my back and advised I have an issue with my sacroiliac joints. She advised I get one of these. This belt is affordable and does exactly what it is supposed to do. In fact, this is the second one I ordered (one for myself and one for my mom's significant other who suffers from the same lower back pain). My only complaint is that I can't wear it all the time because it creates some unsightly issues under my clothing - this isn't a defect with the belt itself however, but rather with my body :-/
