This clock is exactly what I wanted. It is easy to read, nice clear numbers, and it is silent, no ticking sound. It is also just the size I was looking for, not too big or too small.

Very nice quiet clock. Woks well.

The clock I received is nice and I'm happy enough with it. However, it's not as pictured on Amazon. The font is different. The design of the hands is different. Product photos should be accurate, is that too much to ask? This is another small erosion of my confidence in Amazon.

Just like many reviewers my clock made a noise and stopped on the 1st day I had it. But I found that it can be easily fixed. Yes, why should I need to fix this thing, I just bought it? Well it seemed that sending it back was more work than fixing it.Some people have complained of a grinding noise. If you look closely, you’ll notice that the noise is coming from the second hand lightly scraping across the clock face. Mine was making noise when the second hand went from 10 to 2. The clock stopped when the minute hand was at 11 and the second hand was scrapping across the 10 to 2 area and got stuck on the minute hand.The reason for this is that the clock mechanism is crooked to the clock face. Since the hands are not parallel to the clock face they will stop when hitting the low point.To fix, turn the clock over and you will see the clock mechanism, (the part you put the battery into), is held into a pocket by 2 clips at the 12 and 6 locations. If the mechanism is not perfectly flat, that’s your problem. You can test it by pushing down on it while looking at the clock face, the hands will move and become parallel to the clock face. I used a small screwdriver to force the clips back onto the mechanism case and it held straight. Clock is working smooth and quiet.Yes this should not happen, and that is why I gave it 2 stars, but once running, I like it.
