Little Box, Big Fun
Bought this on a whim when I was getting some playing cards, figuring that since it's the beginning of summer, we'll need some new games to keep the kids busy. Even if they weren't great, it was just over $3 per game - can't beat that. The day it arrived, my 16 year old and I tried out three of the games and had a blast. Each of the games has a QR code to take you to the video instructions . This was a lifesaver for Banapples, which we tried to play after reading and re-reading the directions , but just not getting. So far:Banapples is a fun game, vaguely similar to double solitare, but easy enough for my 12 year old to pick up quickly. It's all about speed and paying attention. The score keeping is insane though, adding up as many as 15 or 20 card values. We switched it to 5 points per card and now it's way easier and more fun.Canasta is the classic game, but one we hadn't learned before.Garbage was really different from anything we'd played before. Very easy to learn, I think probably even a 5 year old could master it, and there isn't too much strategy, but really fun and probably the one we've played the most so far.Scorzo is a twist on Rummy, similar to a game my grandmother taught me called "I got it" where you have a different number of cards in each round. It's a lot of strategy mixed with some luck.We haven't tried Spoons and a Spork yet, though we've played Spoons for years, looks like that basic game, but maybe with a twist? We also haven't tried Goodge yet, but I'll try to remember to update this when we do.Overall, this box was definitely a great value, and I think would also make a great gift! It would be great to throw in the suitcase when going on vacations, too, an easy way to pack 6 different games for rainy days or downtime!

Fun game from the 70's
I used to play Canasta back in the mid-70s a lot, but hadn't played it in decades. I remember it being a fun game and this deck makes it easy to understand the rules, how to create melds and the point system is right on the cards to make it easy for scoring.Well worth the money for this, even though you can accomplish the same with a couple decks of cards.
