Chicory Root-2Lb- Ingredient of New Orleans Style Coffee

The Chicory came sealed in a resealable bag and was very fresh. When I opened it the aroma was really great. My whole purpose for purchasing this was to flavor my own coffee with chicory instead of buying coffee already mixed with it. I can use the the type and brand of coffee that I prefer and I can try new types of coffee. I can also alter the amount of chicory that I use per brewed pot. I normally use two or three scoops of this to 10-12 cups of dark roast coffee and this is my preferred taste. It is extremely great!

Adore coffee but was having some issues with increased heart rate.Tried decaffeinated coffee but don't like the chemicals used in that process of decaf donation . Had chicory coffee years ago.Love purchasing this product as can mix it with coffee to get the concentration you want.Add a little cinnamon and it just taste great.Track my pulse and it has consistently gone down 15 beats a day and just don't feel my heart beating too fast.Its doing what was hoping it would do without compromising taste.This is also an economical way to purchase this very good tasting chicory.

I've been off of coffee sine last December when the doc said I needed to kick my 5-cup-a-day coffee habit for my health. I switched to this tea and haven't turned back. I LOVE this tea. It's hearty and flavorful and, with sweetener and a touch of milk, it's a decent substitute for coffee in the morning.However....The way Amazon treats this product is a crime. I've ordered 3 2-lb bags over the last 5 months and 2 of them have arrived cut in some way. There is nothing like opening an Amazon box to find your beloved morning tea all over the inside of the box. Thankfully, I've been able to salvage most of the tea and rebag it in a ziplock bag but I'd really love it if Amazon could store and ship these without destroying the bags!

As a kid I used to drink "grain coffee" called "Inka" which is made of roasted Chicory. So i bought this in hope of re-creating childhood flavor. It's a little more bitter in taste than what I'm used to but nevertheless tasty. I brew it in a French press, add sugar and milk and it comes out very good. Great quality and amount for that price!

I brew 1 -2 cups of this a day. Put some cinnamon in it and it's delicious. It's also great mixed in with coffee.

I can’t have caffeine, so I bought the Chicory to add to my Swiss processed decaf, to add more flavor.

I liked it a lot. Used my Keurig brewer. Can't use it on Strong because it would be really super strong. It's really good with creamer. Great substitute for Coffee.

Haven't found better at this price!
