Shark NV46 Navigator Swivel Plus Upright Vacuum, Large Blue(Renewed)

Great vacuum for the price. Easy to use and great suction. Very easy to empty canister which is clear so you can easily tell when it needs to be emptied. Its also big enough to wipe out the inside with a lysol wipe without taking anything apart. The carpet attachment works very well but for some reason doesn't store on the vacuum like all the other attachments. Overall VERY happy with this purchase, even in comparison to my old $1500 one! I considered investing in another really expensive vacuum, but when mine stopped working, it was because someone used it to vacuum a wet section of carpet which rusted the motor or shorted something out. Long story short, my $1500 "lifetime guaranteed" vacuum was not covered, and the repair would have been at least $200. Im glad I decided to get the Shark, and even if it only last 2 or 3 years, its still cheaper in the long run.

I am so glad I bought this vacuum cleaner. The Shark Navigator Swivel Upright NV46 (Certified Refurbished) is just wonderful. (My previous vacuum was a Hoover.) It arrived on time with no damage to the box, came with an upholstery attachment and a wand, and was easy to assemble. Beautiful looking vacuum. And then I plugged it in. The first room I used it in was the master bedroom where the carpet is generally cleaner than the rest of the house and WOW! was I surprised at what was lurking in that carpet. The canister was maybe 1/2 filled when I was done and the carpet was clean and fluffy. The canister is easy to remove and dumps from the bottom. Super convenient. Same fantastic results all over the house. Also, the hose is long and flexible. The swivel turn is a nice feature, too.The only drawback is that the base is not very wide, so it takes more swipes to vacuum an area than with the wider Hoover, but the difference in performance is worth that minor trade-off.I absolutely recommend this Shark. And I likely will purchase another Shark when it's time to replace this one.

I have cleaned houses professionally and have used my share of vacuums - from Dyson, Miele, Shark and more. Shark vacuums are the best out there, especially when you factor in the price versus the high end cleaners. I’ve been using a Shark rocket, which I thought was the bomb. The Navigator is like a V8 compared to a 4 cylinder rocket. I’ve got two dogs and two cats, with fur for days. I am blown away by how much is in the canister every time I vacuum. It’s really satisfying to vacuum with this machine. The onboard tools are great to have easily on hand with the hose. The Navigator is significantly easier to push around than a Dyson. The swivel action moves in and around like a ballroom dancer.I bought this as a refurbished model and couldn’t tell that it had ever been used.

I love the different levels of suction. If you're not careful and leave the brush for the carpet on when doing hardwood floors, it will blow everything back at you. I also love that I got it cheaper than the rollback price in store.

So far this has been a great vacuum. Have only used it on hardwoods mostly and a little bit on carpets. Has great suction power and picks up what we need it to. We like that it’s compact as opposed to our old-times Dyson that was HUGE

I love this vacuum! Can't even tell that its refurbished. My house only has a couple rugs and small carpet areas so I only use the main vacuum a little bit but I'm constantly using the hose to vacuum edges and crevices around the rest of the house. The hose is super long and has several attachments which all work very well! The brush one works great for pet hair. I have no complaints!

The inside of the hose was dirty. And did not want to clip into place. The clasp was a bit warped and it took quite a effort to finally clip it in. I am concerned it may be a issue later. And it is at the bottom where the hose attaches. So if it does ever fail to clip the whole thing is unusable. Also the corner attachment is not the correct one for this cleaner. It has two holes that that should clip in. But the shark hose does not have the clips. Which leaves the holes open when attached and weakens the suction. I would not buy from this seller again. I am very disappointed.

With all reusable, washable filters and super suction on all floor types, what is not to love about this vacuum?! It certainly feels like I purchased a brand new vacuum at a great discount price. I have two busy boys at home to clean up after and this vacuum gets all the mess with ease. We love it!
