Much better taste and consistency than Optimum Nutrition Casein (not as chalky like most caseins). I will definitely stick to this brand unless a superior product is developed, or an equivalent cheaper product is sold. Get it, it's extremely delicious! If you mix it with milk and if it sits in the frig for awhile it really thickens up, but water wont do this. I use 1.75 scoops in water, and keep it in a frig by the bed, wake up in the middle of the night to chug it, and it tastes spectacular (even with the water).I will say that it (like all Caseins) for me gives me the stankiest gas the next day ever!!! Love it, because for some reason my wait time for occupied gym equipment seems much shorter these days ;).

Best tasting protein I have ever had. Protein mixes perfectly in shaker cup. This is my second 4 pounds in about 5 to 6 weeks. Great value.I must qualify what I do to make it taste extra awesome: I add one third water, one third almond milk and powder and Shake ....then fill cup to the rim with ice cubes and shake again.. best taste ever.

Like the flavor & product. Price has really excelled! Also not as thick as before, I have to use more.

I tried another casein protein a few months ago and it did not mix very well at all. I purchased the vanilla flavor Dymatize product and it tastes very good. Flavor is not too strong and the mixing of this protein is so easy and does not clump or cake up on the bottom of the shaker. I will continue to purchase this product in the future.

My wife and I have been using this product for about 6 months and love it. We are using it as a meal replacement shake. We love the taste and consistency. Taste great with frozen fruit or peanut butter. It blends well in a shaker bottle or mixer.

Taste and mixability are both good... takes a slightly more vigorous shaking than a whey protein, and doesn't taste quite as good, but for a casein protein it's pretty good, the price is right, and it's great stuff for drinking before bed.

Well, I did write a (negative) review about the same identical product sold by a different vendor on Amazon. Upon resolving that issue, I searched again for this same product, and found this item that was `sold or fulfilled by Amazon' because I wanted the old formula. The item picture was/is not like the picture from my earlier purchase-gone-bad; depicting the tub with a red label on top mentioning "Now Smoother and Better Tasting". That is an irony!!I am not a Chocolate, Cookies & Cream, or Strawberry, etc. flavoured fan and I prefer Vanilla. Dymatize Elite used to produce this amazing Casein Vanilla flavoured protein that had a taste like a milk shake from Mc. Donald's. Contrastingly, this new formula is neither smoother or better tasting.I seldom write reviews when a product has met my expectations. But if something is way below my lower limit threshold of my expectations, then yes, I'm writing a negative review, even though my case was satisfactorily resolved by a substitution of something else. I, in turn, would also write a positive review if an item is above my expectations!
