Safariland 690 Handcuff Holder Strap with Snap

Needed something smaller than the full handcuff case I was using. Being smaller, I have less room on my belt. I have two of these and they take up much less room. They don't look like they would hold the cuffs secure but they way they snap works well. I've never had my cuffs fall off, even when they've been grabbed at.

I've had the enclosed cases and they're fine but these free up precious space on a duty belt. I've read other reviews stating the fastening is troublesome. There is a very specific way to button these and once you practice, I didn't find it difficult at all. There are clear instructions, just follow them and these will function great.

I purchased this product as used in "very good" condition for only $8 and I am very happy to say that this product looks brand new and not used what so ever! No scuffs, no rips and I saved money buying used instead of new. I would highly recommend anyone buying used in "very good" condition over new if this is what the out come is.

Great as designed but very hard to undo when needed.

Simple. It’s a handcuff pouch pouch. I’m a 32” waist and the department I work for has us carrying OC, Taser, baton, duty weapon, two sets of hand cuffs, glove pouch, flash light, radio and magazines. These helped me free up some much needed space on my belt and keeps the hand cuffs secure all day even through runs.

Been in law enforcement almost 24 years and just started using this. Does not come unsnapped just on anything and can’t even tell they are there while sitting in your car. Does not press into your back like a normal cuff case

After you've had them awhile, they are hard to pull cuffs off. The snap gets stuck together and can't get to cuffs easily.

2017 Baby cop fresh out the academy, bought an ASP, open top case. Less than a year, it fell apart and I had to get a new one. I bought two of these; one on my back left and back right. The back left one, the one I never used besides for double cuffing, is the one that finally gave. The one I use regularly is actually the one that's still going. To be fair, I didn't have my cuff case long to know a preference. But I love how these straps keep the cuffs off my belt and in a more comfortable spot, they don't dig into my back in the cruiser. I've been in fights and foot pursuits and haven't lost my cuffs. 4 years of use for a product that's less than 20 bucks? I'm here to reorder one. If you're small like me and don't have a lot of real-estate on your belt, these are a great way to go.
