Café Torrefacto Sugar Roasted Organic Whole Bean Coffee

Discovered this coffee and now always have to have a bag in the house.

My Aunt loves this coffee, I tried to purchase when I was in Spain last year, but they do not sell it for some reason. Would have given 5 stars by shipping was steep.

Use as directed. It made smooth coffee.

After all the hype I read about this ... it's nothing special. Good taste, but again, nothing special.

I guess I was expecting a caramel-like tone that increased the body of the coffee, almost a butteriness, but the result was a very earthy flavor, almost tea-like, with not much else to be said about the breadth of the body or flavor. The directions do say to mix it half-and-half with your normal beans rather than 100% terrefacto, but I finally just brewed some with all terrefacto beans to get the full effect, which was not that good. My brewing method was pour-over, and generally nets a very strong, full bodied coffee, my favorites being darker roasts of Ethiopian beans.Curious how others would describe the flavor characteristics.

This coffee is the real deal. It tastes just like the awesome coffees I've had in Spain. I wonder why all coffee isn't torrefacto? It is so dang good.

Excellent taste. Expensive but worthwhile for those that enjoy drinking a good coffee early morning like me. Lol. Try it
