So far, so good.
Purchased to keep track of the temperature and humidity in the rooms where we take our 2 month old.Our room at night is a couple degrees hotter than the rest of the house so we wanted to make sure we were dressing her appropriately. The thermometer is small enough to place on the edge of her crib, and it's text is large enough im able to read it at night in dim lighting. The box comes with two as well as adhesives to place on the back the product is small enough to put in the palm of your hand. You honestly wouldn't be able to find a better price for 2 either.

Great value and useful
Use in different rooms . Fun for kids to learn about humidity with the smile face. Not for under 3 yr old I would think with the small battery.

These work great.
I had other type that the humidity was the larger number and temp small number. These the temperature stands out and I like that.

much smaller than I expected
It works great but it's much smaller than I was expecting. I didn't look at the measurements before I purchased it.

Strange thing this one
First, not sure why people are saying it's small. One of the pictures, on the product page, shows an egg in comparison in regards to its size. But moving on from that. This is small and accurate from what I can tell so long as you don't put it near vents or in direct sunlight. I'm not sure on the accuracy on regards to the humidity reader but I mainly got it to read the temperature between outside, the garage, and the attic I'm working on to insulate to try to keep the heat out in the summer and heat inside in the winter. So, I wasn't worried on testing that out.But today, the strangest thing happened. When I was passing by to read the temperature on the one that was outside, I noticed that it was in Celsius. That was odd. I didn't touch it nor did it move from the spot I placed it in. So, out of curiosity I took it inside to try and figure it out. I took the whole thing apart, 3 layers in total, which wasn't hard to do. I could basically use my medium bendable nails to open it so long as I used the corners. It was so much easier doing it like that since if I did that from the sides, I would bend my nails to the point it rips. But back to the subject on hand... Taking it apart, I couldn't exactly figure it out since when it came to actual wires and circuit board, I am completely stumped die to being a novice. So, with no way to findthe reason why, from doing it this way, I snapped it back together. When putting it completely together it seemed to have resetted the thermometer back to Fahrenheit.I messaged the seller in regards to this and not only were they polite but they were wish quick to reply. They even offered to send another pack in regards to what happened but it was fine. I was simply curious. Still am but maybe I'll eventually figure it out or forget until if it possibly does it again. But, still. To offer to do that really spoke out loudly to me.Also the price is amazing for what you're getting in my opinion

Instructions and battery info for this nice Vaikby thermometer/humidity meter. Great seller also
My Vaikby thermometer/humidity meter did not come with instructions, whether an oversight or none of them do, I don't know. But they are very simple to use. Right out of the box they are ready to use. Just sit them in the rooms you want to monitor. I put them both in the same room the first day, side by side, to see if they gave the same reading. If they say 88º at first, and you know your house is only 77º according to your air conditioner thermostat, don't panic. Go away and let them alone. Come back half hour later, and they should read correctly. It takes them a while to get to the correct temperature, but then they remain accurate. If they aren't reading exactly the same as your house AC thermostat, keep in mind that different rooms in you house can be a slightly different temperature. In our house, the bedroom on the far side of the house from where the AC unit sits outside, is the "end of the line" (a long line) on the ductwork. And It is always slightly warmer than the other rooms. And I don't need a thermometer to tell me it's warmer.I put both thermometers in that room the first day and they both arrived at the same reading, slightly higher than the AC thermostat. When I put them in the same hallway as the AC thermostat, they arrived at the same reading except that these gave tenths of a degree.Sometimes they read exactly the same as each other when they are side by side in the same room, sometimes a tenth or two of a degree different, but that's close enough for me. My AC thermostat doesn't even give tenths of a degree. The humidity reads the same on both units. When the battery (common size CR 2032) needs changed, it is simple. Pry the back off the thermometer, but first notice how the back lines up with the unit - there is a same-size slit on both pieces. You will line these up when you put them back together. I went around with my fingernail to pry the back off, but a thin small knife point, in the tiny notch on the top side, would probably be wiser. The battery is installed face up (you can read the CR2032). Pop it out using a flat tiny screwdriver, or a knife point. Put the new battery in, face up, and snap the back on, lining the same-size slits up.These are very handy units and I may order a couple more for other rooms. I wanted them to monitor the humidity in our house, especially in the winter when it is sometimes cool enough outside to open windows. (We live in a hot, high humidity state.)I did contact the seller, TXJT Direct, and received a prompt and helpful response. It is nice to deal with a company that gives good customer support if you need it.
