I've been using this product for several years. I add some crush walnuts and it makes a great waffle especially if you also add a half a banana

Now this review might not be useful to an average pancake eater... but being a curious person of Indian origin, it was only a matter of time before I tried to cook an indian food item from this :)So... I'm happy to report that these work very well as an instant uttapa mix. Add chopped onions, tomatoes, green chillies and salt along with water and voila... you have an instant uttapa ready mix batter. And it tastes great too!PS: Use peanut garlic chutney

This is probably one of the easiest things to make for breakfast. It is my go-to option when I need to make lots of food real quick. How can you beat "just add water"? A couple of cool tips:1. Mix the batter in a smoothie cup, the ones with a mixer inside and a spout. It makes it really easy to pour into the pan for perfect pancakes.2. To avoid a syrupy mess when you have lots of little kids, you can add flavored syrup directly into the pancakes (for lots of little kids). We used different flavors of Torani coffee or shave ice syrup. Hawaiian punch or Ribena also works really well.3. Use a non-stick pan and you don't have to use any oil.

I like the stuff! This is the 2nd time I've ordered the mix. Considering that all you add is water it makes a fine pancake. How many times have I run out of milk or eggs and Krusteaz pancake mix came to the rescue for a quick breakfast. because all you need is water. Of course for those special Sunday breakfasts I add a variety of ingredients including more malt powder, or soaked medium grind cornmeal. There are lots of other flavoring I'll add like various extracts like almond. Throwing in some pureed banana also works well. There are a million additions possible just use your imagination.
