Ravensburger My Haven No.1 The Craft Shed 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle for Adults & for Kids Age 12 and Up

I love doing puzzles while listening to an interesting podcast. It's really relaxing. Ravensburger's puzzles are famous for their quality. I managed to snap up this puzzle when it was an "add-on item" just for £3.99 which is a bargain!The picture is quite nice and I enjoyed doing it. My only complain is a lot of paper dust! Those fine shavings from the cutting machines. Unfortunately, it's a real problem with many puzzles. I can't do a puzzle straight after opening the box because it gives me an allergic reaction! My nose goes runny and I sneeze constantly. By the way my husband develops same reaction as me. Inhaling that paper dust can't be good for you. More than that, it can be dangerous for someone with asthma! I wish jigsaw puzzle manufacturers looked into this problem.I love doing puzzles too much to completely give up on them so I have found a solution. I dump the bag of a new puzzle pieces into a kitchen colander and give it a good shake. Those nasty tiny pieces just fall through the holes. I have to repeat this a few times util the pieces are clean. Only after that I can enjoy doing my jigsaw puzzle.Normally, Ravensburger's puzzles cost about £13 which is quite a lot for something you can use only once. Paying such price a customer shouldn't have to deal with all that paper dust ! Apart from this, the puzzle was good quality and no missing pieces.

I've so much enjoyed the Ravensburger My Haven series, though I usually buy them from charity shops. Decided to buy this for myself for Christmas, full price and worth it. I'm now coveting The Weavers Shed, and trying to justify paying full price again. I am, by the way, totally obsessed by jigsaws - or jigsaw therapy as I prefer to call it. But then, at 76 one has so few obsessions left!?!!!

I love all Ravensburger jigsaws and pass them on to my friends.How about having a smaller box with a larger picture inside which folds out to the size of the puzzle? Save on storeage, postage and cardboard!Then you can use the lid and base to search thru the pieces.

I absolutely love ravensburger puzzles but this was not the usual quality that ive come to expect. a lot of the pieces were bent so were slightly raised when puzzle was complete and some of the tabs were damaged . really surprised at the poor quality but the subject matter was very interesting.

Fun puzzle to do and lovely picture when complete. Five stars would need a picture included to save having to use box lid, is that too much to ask
