So there are a few of these devices out there and my husband has one on hand for his job so he was trained to use it. The one he used is a 2 step mechanism where you place the mask firmly then squash the air out then pull up. He said it works fine, but saw this and thought this could save valuable time and the price was significantly better. When you have a kid that puts everything in his mouth constantly this gives us peace of mind knowing we can quickly dislodge something should the worst thing happen. Very durable and comes packed in a nice bag for travel. Just be sure to actually open and unwrap all the pieces and then store it. The last thing you’d want is to need to use it and spend 5 minutes getting each piece out of the plastic wrapping.

I saw a video of a child choking and this device was used. I have small children and I always worried about them choking on something. Always wanted to have this for peace of mind but now finally got my hands on one. Everything is packaged well. I never had any other type to compare it to but for $40 to have 4 different size mouth pieces is great! A great kit that can fit in any diaper bag super portable. I like the clear bag it comes in very sturdy and easy for someone to see if you call someone to help you grab the item in an emergency. Haven’t had to use thankfully but enjoy having this and will bring it with me everywhere! Great to have the peace of mind to also be able to give to anyone watching my child as well just since you never know how good people’s CPR skills are even if they are certified.
