No it doesn't have a open crotch or a zipper. But it is not hard to pull down.

Q: does it comes wit butt pads?

No. It has more of an elasticized bottom pouches but I’m not sure how it’s supposed to lift your bottom.

Q: At some point, do you think the elastic bone might poke?

I’ve had it for quite some time and it has never poked me, can wear it all day with comfort
