Playmobil Take Along Fire Station Playset

I purchased this (as well as other Playmobil sets) for my daughter for Christmas. My boyfriend is a police lieutenant, I used to be the Admin for our fire department. This has led to many squabbles about Team Red versus Team Blue. My boyfriend felt he was under-represented in my household. As such, I purchased the same amount of Team Red items as Team Blue items for my daughter for Christmas. I will say that I do love Playmobil, however... there is a large disparity in price when it comes to the fire department items versus the police department items, which, seems to be a common theme not only in Playmobil life but in real life. Our fire department is consistently underfunded, while I personally feel our police department's budget is far too large. Though this has absolutely nothing to do with Playmobil, I feel that this needed to be addressed before completing my review so that others understand the full picture of what goes on in our households (as far as budget disagreements, specifically towards these two departments). The Playmobil fire department items are less expensive, and you receive more items in the packages. I paid the same price for certain "kits" in the fire department category and the police department category...and was shocked at the difference. It seems that Playmobil is also under the same assumption as our city council when it comes to budgets...the police department is simply more expensive.In all seriousness, though, Playmobil does an excellent job with its products. We have many different things from Playmobil and have always been satisfied. Putting certain items together is a chore, but, my daughter loves to play with her police, firefighters, emergency room, and Santa's workshop. We have named all her police officers after officers we know, and firefighters after the firefighters we know. She truly enjoys all of her Playmobil toys.

This item was one of our Christmas gifts to our toddler---what a great set! Perfect for any little firefighter or rescue vehicle enthusiasts. Our toddler can also easily unassemble set---a fantastic and easy to store take-along set. Since this set is a take-along, it is great set to bring anywhere and it is very light to carry. Our toddler loves incorporating this set into their train city---hours of fun and creativity with no batteries required. This is a must-have set and a toddler favorite!

I bought this toy for my 5 year old grandson for Christmas. I've always purchased lego so I was a little skeptical. I'm not good at putting things together, but this toy was a breeze. Good quality, and a little bigger than lego so I was happy about that. All in all I'm very pleased.

Boys 5 and almost 3 LOVE these. They are very realistic and have a lot of "real parts". It does take about 20 minutes to set up before they can play. And.. for an anal mom who HATES to lose toys- it is a bit of a nightmare. I have a zip locked baggie for each set and the pieces need to be picked up when we are done playing- but- boy! That's tough. These pieces are so very small and my boys play with them throughout the whole house. The imaginative play these encourage is so sweet to watch! We definitely will be buying more, my boys love them so much and play with them for hours- but we are keeping the parts list. We did have an issue with a few of the pieces breaking/ missing when first opened and Playmobil replaced very quickly and had very good customer service.

My son thoroughly enjoys his play time with this set. The reason we keep going back to this brand, is the quality and detail with which they make them. They work well with the duplo sets from Lego too. I want to say I was impressed, with the rubber hose, and fine accessories to this set. I wouldn't find this suitable for children under 3. However my 3 year old daughter enjoys playing with this set as much as my 8 year old son does. Put this on your gift list for birthdays and holidays.

I purchased this set for my nephew, and would highly recommend it for those who collect Playmobil! Not only is the set fun, but it's also "Take Along" so it packs up perfectly for fun on the go! (or if you need a fun, nice gift for a kid).Easy to assemble, definitely giftable and great value for money. 5 out of 5 stars!
