I had read this was a very high viscosity paste suitable for laptops/high clamping pressure and resists pump-out effect of thinner pastes.It however does not appear to be very viscous at all, seems comparable to other pastes (Arctic MX-4/MX-6) I have tried.It works fine but I was more concerned about the long term and was looking for a paste that resists pump-out effect and performance degradation over time due to it. Will have to wait and see how this one performs but the consistency makes me think it will be similar to the Arctic pastes.

I have tried many thermal pastes, MX4, MX6, Grizzly and many others but only this SYY157 paste effectively reduced the processor temperature in idle state by 5 degrees Celsius. The temperature is stable. The packaging and its contents also deserve five stars. You can see here the manufacturer's concern for the end user. Ryzen 7600x processor, Arctic Freezer 3 240mm AIO. I recommend this paste, it is great.

Packaged nicely, good accessories - spreader, wipe pads, and plastic shrouds. I am by no means an enthusiast overclocker, but I will say I have built a few computers. This is the thickest thermal paste I've used. I attempted to apply it and spread it around with the mini spatula, but it wasn't easy to get a nice thing coating and ended up making a mess. I just ended up cleaning it off and squeezed out two - "long grain rice" sized globs on in a cross and then clamped down the cooler. It works well, and definitely keeps my cpu running colder than the pre-applied paste. I recommend this to anyone looking for a high quality paste at a really solid price.
