I know many people check the product review and same here. I would like to say it works exactly as I expected based on reviews and let me summarize to save you time!1. The steam clean is very easy to use. no need to remove or uninstall anything for cleaning. (use Distilled water only)2. one-piece hood: easy to clean outside.3. powerful suction (900 up). [not noisy ]4. packing with the double box and fast delivery.5. warranty: lifetime motor and 10 years parts.6. easy to install (check the video on youtube)7. reliable customer service: just call them if any questions!No appreciation is needed until you buy it and use it. (If you feel in the same way lol)

we don't like this range hood for the following reasons:1. this range hood is very noisy and it doesn't have enough suction power as advertised, it seems all of the 3 speed levels have similar CFM ( the speed level2 has a little bit higher cfm than speed level3) and similar noisy level (between 65 db to 75 db) for all of the 3 speed levels2. The steam clean is suppsed to have high-temperature steam (130℃ / 266℉), but I can feel with my hand, it is not even warm, probably only at 77℉

Fantastic performance! Definitely get one for all your cooking needs and odors will never be a problem for you. I highly recommend this unit for everyone. Also, the customer service is better than great, it is SUPER!

Product arrived damaged. Returned and reordered. Next one came in same way. Damaged same side same way. Returned went and bought locally paid more but good. These are great fans but bad shipping or production handling.

Initially, I was wondering why this Pacific hood is louder than my old one when I use it at top speed. After I did some tests with the CFM, I realized that the middle speed of the Pacific hood is the same speed as my old hood. After using the hood for a while, I hardly notice the noise anymore, especially because of all the other noise we make while we cook. Given how well it sucks out the oil and smoke, the noise now seems trivial. I also like the delay off function, which we use with the first/second speed. It’s very quick - in about 5 minutes you can’t tell the smell anymore! I love our new hood and highly recommend it!

Recently, we bought the house with the range microwave. It works not that well as we do a lot of stir fry cooking and a large amount of smoke is generated. I search on YouTube and the Pacific range hood bring us attention which the model SC8130BS. The price is a bit cheaper than the SC8830BS. However, the CFM is the same also comes with the steam clean function and the LED light. To make it looks pretty after the installation, we went ordered an additional 10" X 24" stainless steel penal to cover the gap microwave gap. CHECK MY PHOTO!!! It does not just look amazing, also very easy to clean inside and outside!
