The product is great and works on little power
I couldn’t believe that this little device could cool the air efficiently. Believe me, I have had bought so many other ac units and none of those pieces of garbage worked. This is the only one that actually worked. And please don’t expect it to be really powerful like an actual ac, don’t be dumb, this is not going to cool a whole room, this only helps a little, the air needs to be dry and hot in order for this to work.

Mold factory
So the idea of the cooler fan is great. The issue is the filter cartridge it came with lasted about 2 months before it became a huge mold factory... who knows how long it's been there but the fact that a replacement cartridge is 25-30 bucks makes this purchase not worth it...

Much smaller than you think, and doesn't get as cold as it should
Useful for a very small area, not useful for a 10x10 room. Only gets cold right around the unit itself. It is not powerful enough to project a breeze past maybe 4 feet

Very efficient Air-conditioned unit
This little Portable AC unit is very efficient. As a postal worker who works in a small metal vehicle with no built in AC, this thing has saved my life in the area I live in that easily see's 100+ degree temperature during the summer. The list of pros and cons are below.Pros:-Size is small and compact and fits easily into small nooks and crannies-Noise level is low so it doesn't distract you or even wake you if you use it in a small room.-Blows out nice cold air with fresh cold water-Water level last about 1.5 to 2 hours during intense heat before needing to be refilled-Battery consumption is decent with portable Charges( about 8.5 to 9 hours for 40k MAH charger)-Fan speeds are decent. The low level you barely feel anything and the high level blows out enough to reach 5 ft.Cons:-Port to fill with water is small so adding anything but crushed ice and water to the unit wont work-In high temps the last 1/4 of the water will have heated up and caused the cool air to lose efficiency, but dumping out the cup and a half of water to add fresh cool water is easy enough.-Need to change the cardboard filter out regularly in order to avoid the moldy cardboard smell.-Unit drips if not on a stable surface

Evapolar Review
As a menopausal woman, I highly recommend this product. It’s basically a humidifier.I add refrigerated filtered water to the tank and set this bad boy up next to me. A huge relief for hot flashes or if the room you’re staying in is a little too warm for comfort.Does NOT significantly lower the temperature of the room itself. This is a product geared for an INDIVIDUAL’S comfort. Multiple levels of fan intensity to satisfy just being ‘a little toasty’ or ‘Don’t touch me if you want to live’ all the way to ‘OMG, I could melt the polar ice cap’ (my menopausal friends out there can relate).Tank intake is under the handle on the left side if the vent is facing you. Took me a bit to figure out since the instructions were not clear.Product comes with a loose spout that can be installed in the evapolar water intake port to assist with filling the tank. It is stored on top of the filter in a separate compartment from the water intake port. I add water from a standard water bottle that I refill from a filtered water tank in the refrigerator. Easy to pour from bottle directly into the product’s water tank without having to dig out the separate spout.

Cute, but doesn't deliver
When I first received the EvaPolar Portable AC unit, I had high-ish hopes, having read some reviews that made claims for its ability to drop the temperature noticeably (one person said by ten degrees, I believe) within its limitations of room size. The packaging was impressive and reminded me of getting a new Apple product with all of its well-placed peel-off stickers and tabs that make you think you're opening something really special. And the unit itself is sleek and cool. But that's about as cool as it gets.I tested this unit in a room that was around 76ºF. I started by putting a thermometer about 18 inches away from it, and turned the unit on at low speed. The temperature dropped by a couple of degrees over the course of about 30 minutes, but then started to inch back up again. I then placed the thermometer 6 inches away from the unit and turned it up to full speed. It slowly went back down again, but after 15 minutes, the lowest it got was 73.9º. Hardly "polar".My reason for buying this was to have a cooling unit near a small motor to keep it from overheating as it was running (in my tiny 1920s windowless garage). I wasn't expecting the entire room to get cooler, just an area maybe 3 foot square. This was not the solution. And to be honest, I wouldn't have been happy with its efforts to cool me, either. To my mind, an electric fan would do just as well for personal use, and would be considerably cheaper. Since I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on an expensive cooling solution for my little project, I think my next step will be to construct one of those homemade swamp coolers; they're dirt cheap and can't be any less efficient than this was for my cooling needs.

Perfect small room cooler!
Small house, small rooms and central air conditioning is just over the top expensive. This little unit is perfect in my kitchen. We have two more in other rooms.
