Needed to get meds into my cat. She would not take her meds no matter how we tried to do it. But this made it easier and quick. Cat wasn't happy but this was by far the fastest easiest way to get her her medicine. Came in a 3 pack to use with pills and liquid. If I had to do it again I'd order these again.

We recently were instructed by our veterinarian that our cat needs to take a pill 2 times per day. We first tried mixing it with food, then impaling it into luncheon meat, but they were only mildly successful. So, we decided to get these pill poppers since they were very cost effective and we have a friend who suggested this method of pill administration. We received the poppers at the promised date and immediately tried one on our cat. I grabbed our cat by his scruff and pointed the popper at his mouth. After a bit of encouragement, he opened his mouth and POP!. the pill landed at the back of his mouth and he had no choice but to swallow. We do need to follow him for a minute to be sure the pill does not fall out, but for the most part, we have been successful.

This product is dangerous and should not be sold. The 1.5 inch silicone top came off with the pill in my cats mouth and he swallowed it. We had to take him to the vet and then the ER where he needed put under for them to remove it with a scope because it was too large to pass through his system or to induce vomiting. There are other pill poppers that are safe - this is not one of them. The seller should be ashamed to still sell this as there have been other reviews of it coming off. It is risking the lives of pets. Do not use this and risk 2500$ in vet bills and the life of your pet.

I have to pill my cat with a capsule daily and the popper just doesn't POP! The capsule gets stuck and the rod sticks into the capsule. So this does not work for capsules. It might be ok for actual hard "pills" but capsules are soft so they get impaled on the end of the insertion rod. I have not tried to use it for feeding.Price is not bad, but it just won't work in this situation.

Overall, this is definitely easier than prying my cats mouth open wide enough to pop a pill in her throat, and the silicone at the end is small enough that even a pill the size of a tic-tac will fit. The problem that I have with it, it doesn’t really shoot the pill into her mouth, it really just falls out wherever the tip of the injector is. Now that is still better than my fingers, but it wasn’t quite what I was expecting.Tips: I put her in her bed on her belly, her face towards me, then use my legs to wrap the bed around her like a burrito, and hold my feet down near her butt (which is against the wall) so she can’t back out. Once you pop the pill in, make sure you tilt her head gently up, otherwise she will drop it down and the pill will fall right out. Blow sharply in her face a couple of times (a little known trick that makes animals and even babies swallow), and stroke under her chin and neck to make sure she has swallowed. If she spits it out, just calmly try again.It took me about 3 days to master the pill injector, and I’m teaching my 15yr old how to use it now because I’ll be away for a week. I added a video so you can see how the pill just falls out instead of injecting.

Needed this for a very ill pet.I ordered 3 because one medication was a pill and one was a capsule so I put one tip on one and the other tip on the other one.you can easily switch the tips it comes with two, but my dog needed the medicine frequently and it was cheap enough to use two. And worked out well.i could not find these in any of my local pet shops. They all had a large one.the 3rd one I just got as a spare and haven’t opened

I got this to try to use for my cat's meds. They're Prozac capsules, so both a pretty common med for cats and a pretty normal sized pill that I'd expect this should work for. I put one in to test it with each of the 2 sizes of rubber attachments, and it just doesn't work at all with them. Pushing the plunger part all the way makes it to where the pill pushes out to the end and then is still stuck inside the end of it, rather than actually pushing the pill out. Completely useless for me.

First try this product , because my mia she got sick , and she need take some liquid medicine . It is good for little kitten to feed , and easy to clean and reuse able . It comes 2 peace soft tubes which really help feed pets . I am impressed that it works perfect for my kitten . In the beginning , my cat doesn’t like it , and fight with me while I pill liquid to her mouth , so I try as fast as I can do on her mouth .fortunately it works . This product it is lightweight , and small , I try to use this feeding kit to my dog , my kala she is big one . However it works great too . I like this product .
