Terrific fit and function. Very good bottle holders. Looks good to boot.

Highly Functional, BUT bottle cage finish comes off on water bottles and everything else I touch.
I've bought a couple sets of these cages because they grip the bottles tightly and the bottles don't fall out during rough rides. They are a good value and the carbon-look is very attractive. However, I've been annoyed by grey stains on my gloves, jerseys etc after and during a ride. Whatever I touch after pulling my waterbottle out of the cage has a dark grey stain on it that is not easy to remove. Sometimes it's on my face!As much as I like these cages, they're coming off and I have to find something else.

Light weight and durable...but
So this bottle holder is great for both road bikes and MTB. It's strong but flexible and holds up to off road abuse. It's also pretty cool in the faux carbon fiber look. The reason for a 4 and not a 5 star rating is something worth considering. The profile, as you can see from the photo and the Amazon listing, is a thin flat material versus the old aluminum bar type holders. Because of this, it can be a little tricky to pull your bottle while in mid ride. This is because the bottle will bite a little as you pull it past the top edge of the holder. It's not a wrestling match but it does grab and require a twist and pull move. If your on a tight trail, this can be problematic as speed. So, 4, not 5 stars.
