Great teak cleaner before teak oil application.
I tumbled to this stuff after decades of caring for teak furniture. It was more effective than I expected, and is now a standard process. Much easier than sanding to prep for teak oil application.

Excellent Product
Spray and let it sit for a minute or two. Then, scrub off with a bristle brush and hose off the dirt. Works extremely well.

Easy to use
Wow! This stuff is great. The chair on the right is the "before" I haven't started, the one of the left was after one scrub. I put a scrub brush on the end of my drill to help speed things up, 100% need to use googles and a mask if doing this. Once they are finished, I'll do a light power wash on them to get off any residue I may have missed, then I plan on sealing them.

What a difference!!!!
Little did I think it would be this easy! I simply took a grit-backed sponge, loaded it with the liquid, and spread it over the gray teak. Then adding a little water, I lightly scrubbed as the gray was lifted out of the wood (or so it seemed). A little more water to get the "scum" of gray washed away, then let it dry into a light blond color and the wood is ready for the teak stain. What a pleasure. One caveat: I had a cut on my finger, which I didn't notice until I started scrubbing....the liquid is an acid, so the cut STUNG! A little water relieved the pain, and I used my other hand exclusively....or you could use waterproof gloves. You'll be impressed with the results.

Try using plain water and sandpaper first, before damaging your wood with this.
This works, but really eats into the wood. I stopped using it after one application on a small table. I found that I had better results using a scrub brush and plain water, followed by sandpaper. I had to use sandpaper on the one thing I'd used the teak cleaner on, as it had raised the grain and eaten into the wood. All in all, I cleaned 2 chairs, 3 benches with backs, a backless bench and one cocktail table (all teak) all without this product, and had better results!
