I’ve purchased a few sheets of this veneer and it’s worked perfectly for various home projects. For example, we have a giant standing tri-fold mirror — the outer two leaves of which were backed with cardboard and, as a result, looked very unfinished. I stained and varnished two sheets of the veneer, then applied contact cement to the back and, voila! The mirror now looks perfect.We also had a piece of inexpensive furniture where the backside of it was particle board and so, again, I stained, varnished and applied the veneer to it and now, it looks finished and complete.I highly recommend these veneer sheets, they’re sturdy, beautiful, easy to work with and can be customized to your liking.

Tried using this to on top of plywood for prettier appearance. It is highly recommended by manufacturer to use a vacuum press; not sure the average homeowner has one of these. I would say nto really intended to use in big pieces as there's no way to keep it smooth and not pucker

I was disappointed in the quality of this veneer. The grain looked low quality, it took the stain poorly, and it split. Yikes.Had to remove the veneer and go for a replacement sheet from a local company that offered a better quality. At a lower price.
