Perfect fit for purpose
The cross cutting shredser works well and it is easy to dislodge papers if there is a paper jam. Usually the person putting in too many papers, not the machine.

Works perfectly
It says it can cope with up to 8 sheets. It works, but struggles with it. You are better off shredding up to 4 sheets at once.

Sorry, NOT suitable for the elderly!
At 82 yrs I have to say this machine is an excellent one! However in comparison with my older Paper Shredder, I have to bring to the attention of all 'old birds' like myself.......the heavy weight of the removable , part one has to lift off to empty the chewed up pieces is..... 'wow' SO HEAVY! Living alone, as many of us at my age do, I thought it important to mention this in my report. I have to say I have found this machine somewhat unsuitable for any elderly person like myself merely because of the weight problem when emptying. I do not wish to berate this machine in general but merely warn ladies like myself, about the difficult job I had to empty this otherwise VERY nice Machine!

Damaged on Arrival
The product Rexel Momentum X308 Cross Cut Paper Shredder looks and works fine.The product was perfectly packaged so I was surprised to see the broken guide rail in the collection bin - see attached photo. The cutter head seems to sit firmly in the bin so I am inclined not to return the item to Amazon and have assumed the damage is not significant in terms of function and longevity

Burned out quick
I have to be honest and say that I was expecting this to last a few years and not a few months. It burned out very quickly and gave up working faster than I anticipated. I was quite shocked. Shan't be buying another one. Having said that all the time it was working it was very good and easy to use but that's not saying much seeing as we ended up chucking it in the local tip.

Robust build.
It shreds paper to Very small pieces but has a realatively short running time with no auto stop start function.

Struggles with stated number of pages
works now after the first one stopped working in a month or so. not so well made, as specified and pictured. Would not buy again as I can buy cheaper but better unit I had before - I wanted this thinking I'm upgrading but nooo. .
