Drive Medical RTL12203KDR Shower Bench Seat, Gray

This is a very lightweight but very stable bench. Unfortunately too wide for my mother’s bathtub. I had measured, but the rubber feet were resting on the curved edges of the tub. So it was not stable for our narrow tub. Be sure to measure the width of the bottom of your tub, inside the curved edges. Sadly I’m past the return window and will have to donate our unused bench! Will order the smaller round stool instead.

I bought this for after an open abdominal surgery. It was very easy to assemble, it's light, and it fit nicely in the stand-up shower stall so I could sit to shower post-op. The drainage holes in the seat make it a quick drying stool, and it held my weight just fine. The slight curve of the seat makes it comfortable, and the gentle texture of the seat makes it non-slippy.I def. recommend this stool for anyone who needs to sit in order to shower - whether post op, or just feeling weak and tired in general, this is really useful.

It’s on the expensive side, but a good quality product. I would recommend this if you’re looking for a safe option for elderly. Delivery was fine.
