Excellent
After researching, searching through many reviews, and trying many helmets I’ve decided on this bern watts 2.0 helmet. This helmet is lightweight and offers good ventilation. The adjustment dial functions smoothly and all parts seem to be of good quality. My head measurement is 22 1/4 inches (56 1/2 cm). I went with the small. The fit is good with very little room to spare. With the adjustment dial maxed out then tightened down 1 turn the helmet fits snugly. The straps are adjustable and had to be set to the maximum length for a good fit. I was having trouble finding a helmet as I’m right between a small and medium. Most mediums were too loose and shifted around a lot once tightened down. Some smalls were too tight. If your head measures anywhere over 22 1/2 inches the small will not fit.I am happy I went with the size small. It fits well with adjustable velcro padding on the top, rear adjustable strap, and along the forehead. The helmet doesn’t look too bulky. Some reviews mentioned that the finish shows scratches easily. This is true but this is not a concern to me. There is a cut out in the back to flush mount a light and a screw hole to mount a giggle clip. Based on the value, quality, and comfort I highly recommend this helmet.

Absolutely Awesome
This is an awesome bicycle helmet which is what I purchased it for. The size Small is perfect for me. If you need to make any adjustments the knob in the back of the helmet will either tighten or loosen it around your head. The materials of the helmet are such that it makes for a very light helmet. The helmet has enough vents to keep your head cool on hot days. Most important, the helmet keeps the sun out of your eyes, and the LED light in back of the helmet is strong enough for nighttime riding. The customer service at Bern.com is more than excellent. My helmet was delivered without the LED light. I emailed Bern and within days I had the LED without any cost. If you’re looking for a BERN helmet, look no more. I recommend this one without any reservations. Purchase this one and you will not regret it.

Tried and True
🥇Perfect helmet🚫 Order it elsewhereMy partner rides his bike full time since 2018 and isn’t just a city rider. He rides 44-60 miles, round trip, 4 days a week to get to/from work. This is the first helmet he bought when he started riding and he’s had a handful of crashes over the years — each time his precious little head has been safe although I can’t say the same for his glasses. And after each crash this is the helmet we’ve bought. After a recent crash he predictably wanted his same old helmet. I was hesitant thinking there has to be a better helmet out there now and figured there was a safer option to go with. I researched and was proven wrong. This in fact is still a very top quality helmet with MIPS and although new helmets exist it doesn’t seem safety technology for helmets has changed much. MIPS is still the gold standard due to its ability to manage rotational impacts.Things we love:- The solid visor section for added safety to his face- How the visor helps block the sun a bit since he doesn’t have prescription- The overall look and aesthetic of the helmet- The safety and peace of mind I get knowing this is what’s protecting his brainWhy buy it elsewhere? We got sent the wrong helmet 3x!!! Not like a different color even but a kids pink/purple helmet. The same one each time. No clue what’s going on with order fulfillment but it was a nightmare, especially when you ride everyday and need a helmet. I can’t remember where we ended up purchasing from maybe Bern’s website. Love this particular helmet (Bern Watts with MIPS) but do not order the helmet here unless you’re actually trying to buy one of the kids helmets.💸 Tip: If you contact Bern for a replacement helmet after a crash they give you a huge discount; if I’m remembering correctly it’s 50% off.‼️ A note on helmet safety ‼️Virginia Tech rates all kinds of helmets for safety each year and this helmet was in the top rated in 2019 (first time we saw the study ratings). The MIPS Bern Watts is no longer tested, probably since so many new helmets have come out since then but Bern helmets with MIPS are still rated 5 stars and offer a balance of affordability and reliability. So if you don’t go with this helmet search Virginia Tech Helmet Ratings to find a safe one. I have a Lazer helmet which thankfully I’ve never put to the test but dozens of their helmets make the list, almost all of which are rated 5 stars so it’s brand I’d recommend if you’re not attached to this aesthetic. Lazer has several helmets under $100 that are still 5 stars (but lower rated amongst the other 5 stars) in this year’s top ratings report however the majority of Lazer’s very best rated helmets are between $200-$300.Stay present and well fellow riders!

It fits and is light weight
Seems to be a very nice helmet for riding my e-bike. Easily adjustable fit, decent fittings. I've just purchased a skull cap to go under the helmet for cold mornings.

Bulky
It’s a comfortable helmet and very safe. However, I find it to be very bulky and the bill makes it so I can’t wear my casquette, this might not be the most recommended helmet for track or road cycling. I would maybe suggest their FL-1 Pavé.

No lights
The helmet itself is great. Pay attention to whether or not the model you’re ordering is the MIPS one - there are some reviews on here where people ordered the one that didn’t have MIPS and then were unhappy. It says whether or not it’s MIPS. Also, the seller says the helmet comes with lights. IT DOES NOT COME WITH LIGHTS, and Bern isn’t going to provide them. The seller I had on here was not Bern (I checked) so if you want the light for the helmet, you’ll need to buy it separately. Otherwise the helmet is great. I bought a medium (I used the measurements provided from REI/Bern, my head measured 22.5”) and it fits well.

Fits well
The adjustments really work well. I had a similar Thousand helmet, but it didn't have great ventilation. The one has better ventilation. Love the look.
