You rarely need this size, but when you do, it is always great to have some around
BAND-AID Flexible Fabric Bandages, Extra Large are an essential addition to any first aid kit, as they prove to be reliable when you encounter a significant cut or wound. While you may not need them frequently, their presence becomes invaluable during those moments. I recently had a deep cut on my arm, and these bandages provided excellent coverage, completely securing the wound. However, due to the need for regular changes to prevent infection, I found that my first pack of 10 bandages lasted only around 2-3 days. Despite the limited longevity, the BAND-AID Flexible Fabric Bandages, Extra Large offer peace of mind with their sturdy adhesive and ample size, ensuring that wounds are well-protected. It's worthwhile to have a supply of these bandages on hand for those unforeseen situations when a reliable and comprehensive solution is needed.

Works great for big or long wounds
These big band-aids have saved the day for me! I fell going down our stairwell, and ended up with a 5" long gash on my forearm. After a few days of wrapping it in gauze, I switched to these after that. It takes three at a time. I put them on at right angles to the gash. Because the pad extends, side to side, across the band-aid, there is no adhesive to worry about sticking to your wound. There is another style of band-aid (it may not be band-aid brand) that's about this size, but is has adhesive on all sides of the pad. That's great if your wound will fit inside the borders of the pad, because it will seal up the wound better. But not good if you have adhesive over the pad. These also stick well. Sometimes, I'll wrap a stick-to-itself Ace-like bandage over it, but just being at home they stick well enough on their own. I'm going to order an extra box to keep with my first aid supplies.

Tough no nonsense bandaids
I really like these bandages when I need something to stand up to working on projects and tools. These are really tough and hold very well. They are not the easiest to get off which is what I want but they would not be gentle on hair or sensitive skin. They stand up to showers some of the time. I like the size. Not for little cuts but would work if you don't have smaller more lightweight ones. These were my go-to bandages until the new ones that I reviewed separately.

The only bandage I can use
I have lymphedema and use A LOT of different bandages. When it comes to traditional style bandages, Band-Aid brand 'Flexible Fabric' is the only kind I use. I wish there were maybe 12-15 instead of just having 10 in a box but it's worth it. It's hard to find any other kind that will stick to most of my skin because with the skin conditions that usually accompany severe lymphedema, it's so dry and flaky on large areas of my legs. I always have a few boxes of these large size and a box of the 100 count regular size. Band-Aid's Flexible Fabric bandages are a must have in any first aid setup.

Love these bandages
I walk alot at my job and have formed a bunion on my foot. Since I've been putting this bandage on; I've had very little discomfort and it really helps so my sneaker doesn't rub against my foot.
