JBLCLUB-704 1000W Peak (400W RMS) Club Series 4-Channel Amplifier

This JBL 4channel amp is amazing! I love Harmon/Infinity/JBL products as I have Infinity Kappa 6X9 front doors, 6.5 Infinity Reference rear doors, and Infinity front tweeters and Infinity shallow mount 10” subwoofer all in my super crew Ford F-150 connected to factory HU. This JBL amp is pure quality! I’ve owned many systems in my time and they’ve all been good, but this amp tops them all! From It coming with RCA connectors to splice on your wires for your channel inputs, to having a pre-amp input for the audio to feed your second amp powering my subwoofer. They think of everything making the install that much easier and smooth. The amp not only has the ability to auto sense and remote turn on with voltage less than typical 12volts which my Ford sub hookup output offers only 6volts. So I was able to have it wired up and it comes on like it should with out having to hook up a relay to get it to power on. It feels like it’s made to last forever also with the metal construction on it. Feels extremely durable and well made. The amps customizable/adjustments for tweaking the sound is awesome, with a lot of options to tweak the sound for each individual channel, making my system sound amazing. I don’t even have my gains up! Currently have them both (front, rear) on minimum level right now and they sound amazing and PLENTY loud enough where I probably don’t need to increase the gains. The sound quality is just so crisp and clear you can’t beat the price for this powerful of an amp that’s 4 channels with pra-amp out at $150 that’s just unheard of!

If anything, this amp is UNDERATED in the power department. I have four 6X9s,(jbl) two 6.5s (Polk) two 3” super tweeters (ds18) hooked to it and it’s more than they can handle. I have the gain on half. At one point my Sub amp wet out so I hooked my 15” subs up to it as well wired for (2 ohm total impedance) and THEY were thumping! (And not bridged, either). Seriously amazed at the quality of this amp. Also, has never gotten hit on me.

Very pleased with this amp. I’m running 4 Jbl 6 3/4 stadium series speakers with gains half way up. The sound quality is extremely loud clean and clear. It doesn’t get hot at all with heavy use.

Very nice amp..have it hooked toJBL club series 6×9 components , 5 1/4 JBL club components, and two 3 1/2 JBL club dash tweeters ..very clean and powerful ..produces clean sound only at Quarter Gain ..A+

Even though I purchased this item a few years back I've only had it in use for less than 10 months after installing and it no longer works on any speaker or subwoofer but the power shows on. A waste of my money given that I only got to use it for 10 months. I'm on the old JBL amplifier before and it gave me 10 years this didn't even top one. No I have subwoofers but no amplifier. Maybe someone on their end can make things better since I buy JBL products based on experience

As I said I bought this from a 3rd party Amazon seller for about 220. The specs on it matched my speakers perfectly so why not? But I had it installed snd it has this hiss when you turn up the volume even to 1. It’s something I can live with because when you play music at any reasonable volume, you obviously can’t hear it. But it bothers me to know that I paid so much and it’s not clean sound. Instead, I’m going to remove it and sell it on eBay with full disclosure, snd I ordered a brand new Rockford Fosgate amp that’s slightly stronger but I know for a fact that RF makes real quality stuff. All my other stuff is RF, so this will take care of that annoying hissing sound. So if you don’t mind that mild annoying hiss (which is imperceptible once you put any music on) then sure, go for it, otherwise, I don’t recommend it.

Sounds good and a good size for mount. My car scream. 2 super tweeters, 2 6.5 and 2 6x9 hooked to amp

These gave 4 of my jbl GT0 90w RMS speakers an extra amount of base I didnt know it had. This amp is freaking great!
