Better value when buying by the pound.
I bought 26 beans and 1# of beans to see which is a better value and by the pound is better. We make our own vanilla and this worked perfectly.There is only a bit more vanilla bean curd in the 26 beans over the beans in the 1# container. If you are making vanilla, just get the 1# bag.

Great Quality and Price
I am using these for making vanilla extract in big quantities with a case of Siesta Keys Rum. Oh my goodness, a month in and you can't see through the clear silver rum we purchased for making it. We are going to let it go for a year then give the bottled extract as presents for Christmas! Top-Notch beans and competitive price. And with prime shipping, it comes a lot faster than other sources.

I’d gotten a bad batch of vanilla beans and the company replaced them AND refunded me. Very satisfied.

Second Package Wasn't Sealed
The first 1Lb package we ordered was great. The 2nd 1 Lb package wasn't sealed. Sadly, this item is not eligible for return. I think if a $168.99 food product arrives unsealed, one should be able to return it.

Be careful buying large quantities
The bag did not come vacuumed sealed. There is a small puncture at the bottom of the bag. I tried to return the package but when I tapped the button to return item, it states its not eligible for return. I don't know how long it's been punctured or if it is viable for use.
