I was put off by the 1 star review....
But I managed to fit it just fine on my car where the tether broke. Simple item, does fit, quality is reflective of the price (nothing world class, nothing awful) and it did the job I needed.

It’s ok
It’s too tight on the slip ring of the cap and the flexible cord too stiff. Shame because it’s almost perfect, ok as a standby and cheaper than a new cap.

Positive:- The quality looked reasonable and the tether to the cap was correct.Negative:- The ring (band) that attaches to the fuel cap is the wrong diameter (too small) and the band width is only half that of the original.
