SpigenSamsung Galaxy S9 PLUS Tough Armor kickstand cover/case - Black S9+

I've always used tough armor cases on any phone I've had in the past and once again I am not disappointed. Case fits well, all buttons and ports are accessible and if you also want to use a screen protector on your new S9+ I highly recommend the Spigen Neo Flex. I've just installed one on my S9+.

Within 2 days of putting this case on, i dropped my phone on the concrete! The case took the full brunt of the impact, of course on the corner, it's always on the corner! I lifted up my phone fearing the worst and.....nothing, the phone itself was absolutely fine, no marks anywhere. There is a slight graze on the case corner but i can live with that.Possibly the best case i've ever bought. I couldn't recommend it high enough.

This really is a great case, I had previously purchased the Torro leather flip case for my S9+ but it just made a big phone that much bigger and bulkier so gave up on it after a week.So I turned to a more simple gel case and extremely happy I did. This spigen case is light protects the screen reasonably well and is very comfortable in the hand.The flip stand I thought was a bit of a gimmick until I used it first time to let my daughter watch cartoons and its actually a brilliant bit of design, and holds the phone at the perfect viewing angle.I can't comment on durability yet so may write a follow up in a couple of months, but all in all I'm pleased with the case and believe it will go the distance, its exactly as described and can't really think of any negatives.

Two thumbs up, definitely recommend. I am a longtime Spigen fan for several years and have used several of their cases on all of my Galaxy S phones. Decided to pay a bit extra for this one with kickstand, so I don't have to hold the phone if I don't want to. The front side of the case protects the glass with a raised lip at top and bottom (unless you drop it on a rock, table edge, etc.) and the back side allows easy access to fingerprint reader. Bottom speaker, charger port and headphone jack are all easily accessed as well. My only niggle is it would be nice to 'blank' the Bixby button, as I don't intend to use it, but with the knurled surface it's relatively easy to avoid.

I am a fan of Spigen cases and I'll continue to buy them if I change my phone again, they're subtle yet stylish and Dont take away the feel of the phone too much which is nice, they also offer great protection for your phone which is the most important thing.The reason this particular one doesn't get 5 stars is simply due to the stand, Im not a massive fan, I got it because I knew if I didn't need it I didn't have to use it, however it feels flimsy and weak, it clips into the case well which is satisfying to play with but that not really the point haha, it can only be used in landscape mode and in this mode it fully supports the phone and makes it stand. When portrait it falls over which is expected when you look at the design I just don't see why they didnt put another tab on the other side so that you can use portrait mode whilst using the stand, it would also allow users to choose the orientation of the landscape mode.Besides the stand a really good phone case I would definitely recommend.
