Will it protect credit cards with chips?

My husband has had this type of wallet for years. This is a replacement for his last one. We do have the chip card and he hasn't had any problems. The wallet is a hard case and protects cards from bending.

Does the red color case paint chip?

It does. I think that most of the paint jobs on the metal piece of the card holder will chip. Particularly if you put yours through as much as I have put mine through.It ends up looking like a slightly faded denim version of that color, which is not a bad look, but it's not the same look that a new holder has.

How much will fit in this case? Cards? Business cards? I see in one picture there's a key?

Mine's packed with 8 plastic cards (bank cards, health insurance, drivers license), 2 business cards and a bus pass. That's a bit too stuffed though, I should take something out.
