N52 CMS Magnetics® Neodymium Magnet 3 x 1/2 x 1/4 inch Very Strong Magnet 1 Piece

I have two of these in my car for cell phones. They are fantastic and strong. There is a magnet hole in the middle of them where your phone will flop around a little bit in the hold, but it's strong. Your phone will not escape the clutches of these on even the hardest of corners. I have a Iphone 7 with Otterbox Defender (the heavy one) with a metal standard cell phone plate on the back of the case. These magnets hold it very well and nobody can tell they are cell phone holders. Blends seamlessly into the dash.

Very powerful magnet. Notice the "N52" in the description. This vendor is the only one I saw that included that number. All the others put claims about how many pounds their magnet can pickup which is very subjective and depends on several factors. N52 is the magnet grade and this number is the highest available. So for its size, its as powerful as you can get. For more "lifting power" a larger N52 grade is required.I pinched my finger a couple of times by getting this magnet to close to a large metal object. Its hard to pry off.It works really well to magnetize screwdrivers, tweezers and other small tools. That's what I got it for.

Very Strong - but remember - the higher the N rating the more brittle. playing around with them - putting two magnets on a countertop and bringing them together (using their own forces) actually broke them. My mistake - not a design issue.

GOOD LORD these are strong magnets. Be careful with these they can grab your fingers or pinch your skin. I got grabbed a few times trying to separate 2 of these magnets after they stuck together, and it gave me blood blisters and actually broke the skin. Impressive magnets.

This magnet super strong! Works really good for finding metal studs in walls and things like that. Down side is that they break kinda easy.

The photo is of the magnet at 8 hours old. I can’t believe it survived shipping. If you really think about it, I guess it’s more likely than not something that has 95lbs of force and is no thicker than this thing is, well, it’s gonna break. It broke the first time I stuck it to metal. It broke again when I stuck the two halves together. If you want a bunch of jagged little magnets, it’s perfect.

Just what I was looking for, perfect for my needs.
