Keeps really cold and the dust out! Nice.....
Decided to take a risk on this one since I live in a really hot place and keeping a drink cool can be challenging. I have not done any lengthy tests on this but what I do know, is that when I filled this with my favorite cold beverage....I came back 2 hours later and was quite surprised that it was just as cold as when I pored it in. Before using this I like to put it in the fridge for a few minutes which I think helps it last even longer. Am very pleased with this and it seems well made. Not sure how long the rubber ring around the inside lid will last but it looks very sturdy all around. And I do like the thermos green color that they've used over the years. When looking for something that would keep my drink cold after opening, and retain the carbonation, I give this one 5 stars because in the workshop with sawdust blowing around and fans blowing...the lid keeps all that out! Really please, thanks for a quality product Stanley!

Ultimate Stein/cup
Works perfectly!Keeps my tea Hot in the mornings for Hours, and my beer cool for even more time. Also the materials are great! you could use it to smash someone on the head and it won't spill anything of its content. The only bad thing, it retains odors very easily, better to wash it right after every use and let it dry open, or you will smelling your last night beer while drinking your morning tea.

Metal vacuum stein is best stein
This is basically a mini growler in the shape of a traditional stein. It is very similar to other stanley products. I have a coffee cup that is same idea from years ago--but this stein works much better. It keeps beer cold for hours and seals it against spills. So far the record for keeping beer cold is two hours. It could probably last longer but I have not been able to keep beer in vessel longer than that. It gets .5 star off being a plastic handle screwed on. I really wish it was metal and better fastened to the cup. This has been a failure point on other stanleys I've owned. Secondly I'm not sure how it works on other steins, (I've never used one with a top) but this top goes about 45 degrees from the handle (backwards from the cup) when fully pressed; this is not enough for it to not hit my head unless I drink from the spot exactly adjacent to the buckle. And if I'm wearing hat or glasses it will still hit. I just sort of assumed it would go further backwards to make drinking easier. The rest of the cup is solid again except for the plastic piece the buckle rests on. But plastic can be tough and strong so I have my fingers crossed. Also your beer will stay much colder if you keep the top closed and if you make sure the cup is cold ahead of time, either keep it in the fridge, or give it a quick ice water shake or at least run cold water in it before using. I'll include pictures later. Also its the same hammertone green powder coat on their other products. Its not bad, but I think red will look much better if they release it in other colors.

Cool stein
Cool stein. Stanley makes great stuff for a decent price. This is way cheaper on Amazon than any where else. The stein is water tight when sealed and keep the contents cold. Never really let the contents set too long though

The plastic handle is pretty beefy, so I'm not worried about it being ...
I was looking for a drinking container that sealed well enough to transport beverages-- not just something "spill resistant" but truly sealed. This seals tight. Mind you, this is not a commuter mug-- you can't open it one-handed while driving, and it's too big for a cup holder in a car... but that's not what I was looking for.The plastic handle is pretty beefy, so I'm not worried about it being insufficient. The latch is tight, so it *might* give someone with arthritis a little trouble opening. The lid is a little in the way while you're drinking, but it just takes some getting used to-- it was bumping into my glasses. Rotating the mug clockwise so the lid was away from my eyes and nearer my chin was the solution.I bought the green one because it's the classic "Stanley" brand look, and I am happy with making that choice... but I might buy a black one as well because I like this mug so much.

Neat concept, but awkward to use/weak seal
Although it's a cool piece, it's really not as practical as I thought it would be.First of all, it does not handle pressure from heat or carbonation well. My first time using it, I had poured part of a can of Bang energy drink into it, but lost half of it on my passenger seat when it leaked. Another time, I had filled it with hot water to clean it. After shaking it up, I popped the clasp and was surprised when a significant, explosive POP echoed in my workplace's bathroom. The steam and pressure produced enough force that it damaged the plastic portion of the clasp by hyperextending the joint about 30 degrees, slicing into it with the metal components.Additionally, the lid's opening angle is limited so it's almost certain to contact your cheek/face when using it, along with any condensation or excess that's sloshed around. It takes some getting used to and is still often cumbersome. It now resides in my backseat in case of emergency, and not for daily use as I had intended.

Happy I Bought It
A really nice coffee mug for me. It holds just about the right amount. If closed the insulation works well if it's not opened too often. The only problem that I found is the same some other folks that have reviewed it complained about. The top doesn't drop far enough toward the handle so the underside will brush against your cheek along with whatever you have in it.

Killah friggin Stein
Take care with this little gem, she fits two beers at a time, so you have to oblige it. Only problem is now your drinking doubles but mentally your only drinking one lol. Its pretty friggin sweet, I've used it a lot ice fishing its insulated enough to keep your beer from freezing and the latching lid is awesome for those high speed runs to your flags.
