My friends and family can now enjoy our covered patio during the current heatwave.I read previous reviews and made sure to utilize a water filter to protect the unit from clogging with the area’s hard water deposits. It’s only been a few days, but it works beautifully. As an added bonus, it helps combat the nasty Asian Tiger Mosquitoes which have inundated Southern California. The fan is powerful enough to knock them out of flight.

Texas summers are hot and this summer I was working in the back yard a lot. the misto worked but things got very wet very fast so I got a electric solenoid valve (off an old refrigerator icemaker) and a low pressure cut off switch and a off on off control (from Amazon) and now I can adjust the spray timing so that I get more evaporation and less soaking shower. I can even use it inside my shop without too much water dripping everywhere.

I was impressed with all 3 fan speeds as it even does a pretty good job against Chicago area winds. The misting element surprised me, however. I expected it to be a very light mist, not actually soaking everything within half hour to hour or so. Umbrellas, cushions, clothes all set wet and dripping. I even lowered the water pressure but still kicks out same amount of wetness. Would be nice if there was a low, medium & high setting on the misting portion of machine as well. My female friends won't sit on patio when it's on because it ruins their hair. I'm bald so no biggie but I can only use my waterproof cell and not tablet while it's on, even set on "1" and pretty far from sitting area. Very well made and sturdy yet light enough to easily carry. DEFINITELY buy the filter cartridge sold separately!!I'm sure this is perfect for those just sunbathing in backyard.

For me this has been one of those purchases where I know I lived with a one but now could never go back. It makes outdoor patios sitting better than that ever. It is so relaxing to have just the fan going. Or the mist. It is perfect.Super easy to plug in and connect to hose. Worth every penny! I've had ot over a year and it has help up so well. Even take it with me camping. Noise level is low to moderate.

This is the best purchase ever!! This little beauty mists my back seating area and really cools down the temp on hot days. The mist is so refreshing, I absolutely love it!

Ok, first, let me premise this by saying that we live in AZ and we needed a way to cool down our chicken (meat) flock during the treacherous 6-8 weeks leading into the monsoon. Secondly, don’t stand within 8-12 feet from it or you will get damp.I have it set up on a wooden stool hooked up to a garden hose and extension cord, aimed at the main run and coop, at a distance of 15 feet from the run. Today, it’s 111 in the shade. In the run and in and the covered coop, it’s hovering in the low 90’s. It also keeps the waterer’s cooler and the flies at bay. The fan and misters run 18-20 hours a day for over 3 weeks straight now.It is saving our flock and helping ensure our investment sees itself to the fruitful end. Great product.

I live in Texas and spring/summer are quite toasty. This works perfectly and easy to use/attach to the hose to get the mist going. The dogs love to sit in front of it on hot days. I also used this fan inside when I needed to dry out some water damage. The speed is great and I have told my friends to get this fan as well!

Great fan but a lot of water! We wanted a mist but this is at the very least a sprinkle. Everything near will get soaked. Wanted to use it on the deck or porch but it’s too much water. Using it on pool deck and it does keep it cooler.
