If you're not going to wear a life jacket, just get this! Don't hesitate!
I hope I never have to use this in an emergency but it's super cool! I got an inflatable paddle board and was looking at life jackets and stumbled across these. I didn't even know they existed but glad I do now.Bulky life jackets are cumbersome but I barely can tell I'm wearing anything. It also happens to match my new board so that's fun. 😊I tested it out of the water to see how it works. I really had to jerk hard on that pull tab, harder than I expected. You could definitely test it so you know what it's like. For tests, I wouldn't put the green armed plastic cover on because it's designed to break and fall off when you pull the tab so don't bother wasting it. That way you can just buy replacement threaded C02 cartridges instead of buying the replacement kit after the test.Using the blow tube required a lot less lung power than I expected. It's pretty easy to roll back up into the belt.

Effective
My wife and I kayak and tend to take off our life vest in the heat of the sun - not safe. These wear as a belt around your belly and only deloy by a rip cord user pulled when falling into water. A life preserver is only good if you wear it - highly recommended. Each preserver has one CO2 (16 gram) for deployment and a reserve pouch for rearming so you can continue your trip ready to deploy again.

Minimalist style with Safe
For years, I have paddle boarded with a vest, which is cumbersome. I purchased this so that I may paddle with safety and not be bogged down with weight of a vest. The safety device does what it’s intended to do and I am very pleased.

Great Life Vest for Paddleboarding!
We bought two of these after reading reviews and I am glad we did. They are lightweight, easy to adjust and you barely notice you have it on when paddleboarding. Compliant with standards for paddleboarding this is the way to go and at the lower end of options on price you get a great product.

Solid product
Great product, slim design and wears well, while being worn on paddle board it’s like it’s not even there, perfect size and weight

Easy to use
I use this while I paddle board. It is very functional. It doesn’t not get in the way of moving and isn’t as hot as a traditional life jacket.

life preserver belt
Greatest invention! We are using them on our small fishing boat. Telling all of my friends who are also ordering. USC approved except on the ocean. We stay on the lakes and rivers so perfect! My kayak friends never knew of these and are thrilled to hear about them.
