This is priced right and a great looking little clock. As advertised no ticking sound at all; super quiet

Needed another clock and I liked the looks of it. Tired of digital clocks.

This vintage retro clock is a great desk addition: it does not take up too much space, it's clear to see, and it looks fantastic (I got the one with Roman numerals!). The only reason that I'm giving it a four star is because, contrary to how its advertise, this clock is mostly silent, not "super silent." During the day I hardly ever hear anything; however, at night, when everything is quiet around the house, there is definitely discernable gear noise, but nothing major. At first I thought it was just the fan on my laptop turning on, but then I realized that it was the clock. I don't feel like it's loud enough to be disturbing if you're trying to concentrate reading or something, but it is there. Thankfully, the noise's reach does not extend very far, so once you're like a few feet away from it you really can't hear it anymore (which was my main concern for when I went to bed). It still is a great buy, I just think that they need to change their product description to say Mostly Silent.

I've grown tired of all digital clocks - call me old-fashioned, but the soft light with the Roman numbers looks so nice in, if all places, one of my bathrooms! I need to know how much time I have left to get ready for my day, & if I need a reminder, the alarm is perfect!. The price blew me away because the quality & workmanship are top notch. I highly recommend this clock for any & all your timely needs!

This is an update to my first review. The two clocks worked great at first, but started losing time after 6 weeks of use. I put in new batteries twice, but they were still losing time by 5 minutes a day. Now they have stopped completely and new batteries have no effect. It’s just past time return window so I’m stuck with dead clocks. They look lovely, but are not fit for purpose.

I ordered the Roman numeral version of this clock. It looks very nice, but I will be returning it because it is actually a total of 5¾ inches tall - not 4 inches as stated in the description. It is too large to fit into the space I intended to put it in. I did not insert a battery, so I don't know if it works or makes any sound while operating, etc.

Smart looking. Durable and works well.
