Easy to install, love the wi-if access. The app is awesome. You can add a picture to the zone to assist in confirming you are controlling the intended zone. Setting you zones and times is a breeze. I could say so much more, worth every penny

Update - I switched to Standard Mode and now have all the control I need. I can run a given station with different durations at different times. I am surprised the Standard Mode seems to allow the user to have more control and the Advanced mode is less flexible. Who would have thought?I now have 2 of these. Love the internet interface, good usability. But I am not able to run a station for different time intervals for some reason!!! Hunter - What are you thinking??? For Example - Under Advanced Mode, I am not able to run a station for 5 minutes and then 3 minutes later. WTF?I could do this with my previous manual systems from Hunter and Rainbird??? For some egghead reason, Hunter has decided that a station can only run for a set number of minutes period, end of story. I live in 100+ degree heat in the summer. Hanging plants, potted plants and some grass areas die if you don't water them enough!Hunter! You should update your software and release a method where the user can have complete control! Not Happy.

Was easy to install to replace my old manual system. The App is great. Nice to be able to water the yard from my phone. Just take pictures of the wiring of your old system before you install. It only took about 15 minutes to install the hardware. I am very happy with it.

I purchased and installed this controller per instructions. The controller easily recognized and joined my home WiFi network. However, the controller refused to connect with either my Macbook laptop Hunter website nor the iPhone App. Both devices had the proper credentials loaded for model and S/N. After a week of troubleshooting with Hunter Customer Support, I found links detailing difficulties of this controller linking into its control software. Hunter finally said the unit was defective and to return it. An infant failure of an electronic device straight out of the box is inexcusable. I switched brads to a different controller and I was up and running in 10 minutes. I also had difficulty in finding the customer support phone number.

I went from a 30-year old Rainbird to this, and I set it all up myself. It was VERY easy to re-wire, then it hopped right on my network and I was watering my lawn within less than an hour! The app is very flexible and easy to use, and now I can set up all sorts of watering combinations that weren’t possible with my old controller. Being able to control watering more accurately means this thing will pay for itself in probably 2 seasons or less!

I’ve installed so many of these I have lost count. Easy to install and connect to wi-fi (2.4 ghz only). The app works well and is very intuitive. It’s easy to run one or multiple zones manually. The wi-fi based weather helps cut back on watering or an water more if it’s very hot…..all customizable from the app. Having the ability to run from the touch screen is nice if wi-fi is down or you have a landscaper needing to run it after fertilizing.

Easy to install by yourself. Quality instructions and product. A little bit to learn how to use all of the benefits to actually reduce your water output but worth it to dial in the right schedules. I connected it to the group who maintains my system and turns it on in spring and off in fall. My grass has never looked this GOOD during a hot summer before. You will enjoy the savings on your water bill.

I like that I can control water manually across the United States.
