Venzo Bike Bicycle High Pressure Shock Pump 300 PSI Max Fork & Rear Air Suspension with Digital Gauge - Great for Mountain Bike MTB Fork

Pump could be better for the price but its fairly lightweight, built mostly of plastic with some metal bits. My main issue with this pump is the hose and the chuck that screws on to the shock threads. For one, when screwing on the head to the shock/fork, the piece is really shallow that you really need to screw it on. For a bit more, I could buy the Fox branded pump, as similar as they may seem it has a longer attachment head which I believe would alleviate my issues with this pump.The pump turns on automatically when it detects pressure, so naturally I stopped screwing on the chuck and began pumping but when doing so, the numbers jumped up about 10-15 per pump and it felt as if there was a lot of force needed to pump. Went riding and felt it was still not setup correct. Went back to checking with the shock pump, again turns on automatically when it detects pressure, turns out I had about 50-75 psi less than what I had initially thought.Screw the chuck in a couple more turns, to the point of bottoming out the threads, and I get a proper pressure reading and pumping is much, much easier. The only thing is, screwing in the chuck those extra few turns, the hose begins twisting at the attachment point of the body which results in me having to rotate the entire pump to accommodate proper engagement with the shock/fork. Its a bit of an annoyance. It would be great if it had an additional swivel point on the body of the pump where the hose attaches in addition to the chuck, that would solve my issue with this pump.

This is supposed to be a high pressure pump with no loss of pressure when disconnecting. One thing I have noticed is if you want to set your pressure at 150 psi you must pump the pressure up to 175 psi. Not impressed. For the price I paid I was expecting a zero loss pump. Not so much...

Great fork and shock pump. Super easy to use. Very easy to read and it has an auto shut off and auto start so you almost never run out of battery. I use it before every ride and several of my buddies have also bought it. Great value when compared to more expensive famous brand pumps. Who says quality can't be found at mid level pricing! Highly recommend.

This pump has a longer handle and hose for easier use compared to the smaller cheaper one that came with my bike for free. The smaller ones are annoying to use, but not this. Each stroke is half a pound of pressure (PSI) and there is a bleed knob if you overinflate. Highly recommended. $25 cheaper than the one with a Fox decal on it.

Seems to be very accurate. Looks exactly like the Fox one as if they were made by the same manufacture and just didn't get the sticker. The sticker and the valve end are the only differences I can see between the two holding them side by side. They both gave the identical readings off two pairs of forks so I am satisfied with the pump. I do however, like the valve end on the Fox a little better, but for 2x the price, it is not worth the difference.

After attaching the chuck until it bottoms out, the valve pin still isn't engaged so 0 pressure is read. I compared the depth of this chuck w/ one on a Topeak pump and it's a 1-2 mm shorter. I read how previous reviewer had to really torque down the chuck but I'm not willing to risk stripping my fork valve to do so.

Digital gauge is pretty far off, more than 40 PSI off, but it doesn't matter, I just kept on increasing the pressure until I reached 20% sag. That being said, you don't need a digital fudge of it's is not accurate.

I think the headline really says it all.The pump is gentle and put about .5 pounds of air per pump into the system so you really will not be able to blow out the shock system. I am using on my motorcycle with air ride suspension.

Very pleased with this pump. It is easy to use and has become an essential tool in my MTB tool box. Recommended.
