Denim 'N Lace Russian Sage (Perovskia) Live Plant, Blue-Purple Flowers, 0.65 Gallon

The shrub is petite now but fully developed. It came well watered and protected. It even was in flower and looks very healthy. I’m hoping it gets established before the winter. If not I won’t hesitate to order another from this seller in the Spring and give the plant a better chance to thrive. But I think it’s healthy and big enough that it will grow.

The plant arrived quickly and was packed carefully with styrofoam peanuts. The delivery person didn't put the package upright but the plant was fine due to the good packing.If you have ordered the Perovskia do not immediately drench it with water as the shipping instructions suggests. I drenched mine according to the label and it was too much. It yellowed a bit because the container soil held too much moisture and the time of year was a little too cold. Give it a little bit, not a drench.. Luckily I've kept the plant away from the last few rains and it is starting to green up.The plant will go on top of hard pack clay on a heap of specialty soil. You dont want to amend native clay soil in the spot where it goes because that will make the spot hold more water. I'm going to be making some well draining soil for it with sand, crushed limestone, bark, and compost. It is a plant that likes higher PH soil thus the crushed limestone aggregate. I hope this review helps your plant succeed as well.

I’m thrilled with my order! Grimm's Gardens did an excellent job in the packing of the Denim N Lace Russian Sage that I ordered. The plant was fresh, healthy and a bigger size than I expected for the price. I immediately unpacked it, watered it and set it out on my covered back porch to recuperate. Just got it yesterday and I’ll be planting it today. If the plant doesn’t make it it’s totally on me because it’s just perfect! I found Grimms Gardens website and I’ll give them a shout out as well. I won’t hesitate to order from them again.

Very nice, can’t wait til it blooms and gets bigger

The came dry as a bone with all the new growth broken and wilted. Almost to dried herb level of wilted. I’ve ordered a lot of plants online this year from a variety of sellers; this was the worst quality of anything I’ve received.

I was very pleased with my purchase. Overall the plants were in excellent shape upon arrival and didn't miss a beat going into the ground.

This Proven Winners plant order was fulfilled by Grimm's Gardens.The Russian Sage Denim & Lace arrived in good condition, though I have never had plants shipped in packing peanuts. They were individually wrapped in netting, two of the five had bamboo sticks to protect them from crushing. The box, though a little flimsy, was well-labeled with Live Plants stickers, care instructions included.Barring gardener error, I believe they will grow well.Overall, I'm satisfied with my order.

Pretty good size delivered. Smells so good. Planted and they seemed to grow and are healthy.
