GEWJ85X10041 Genuine OEM Air Filter for GE Room Air Conditioner

I have a rental that has the A/C unit this fits. I looked a lot of places and found this to be the least expensive, almost half off some sites. This matched the color perfectly and fit like a glove! Nice fast shipping. Very happy with this purchase.

This winter while prepping the AC and sealing it off (it's permanently installed in the wall) I broke the filter when I pulled it out. The plastic had become slightly brittle but it was probably time to replace it anyways.This one fit perfectly (as expected) and was simple to install. It's a great filter that catches pretty much everything and it's simple to clean. Sometimes I'll use a blower just to blow any dust off or I'll put it in the tub with some soap, spray it with the shower head, give it a quick wash and dry then slide it back in the AC. Takes just a couple of min and it's good as new.

I rely on my air GE air conditioners. They are older and the filter on one cracked. I measured the filter and checked the photo. It was identical to my cracked one. It fits and works well. Hopefully I'll get many more years from this unit.

The filter was well made and packed in foam in a box to insure it arrived without damage. Shipping box contained box with filter.

Honesty just really happy this was being sold and I was able to find one for my old air conditioner. The old filter I had literally crumbled apart on my hands so I'm thankful I was able to find this to replace it. It's extremely expensive but it fits and it was the only one being sold that I could find. I'm glad I was able to look up what I needed with my AC's model number.

Filter was an exact fit and was of good quality. Unfortunately, the GE design uses filters with an integrated plastic edge which results in a higher cost filter than other brands. However, the price charged by this vendor was the lowest I found.
