Love my snails!
I wanted something to help keep my betta tank clean and truthfully to have something else to watch/look at. I'd never thought to buy animals off the internet. If you're thinking about buying some snails from THIS vendor, do it.I had 2 arrive in PERFECT condition. Happy little creatures who seemed thrilled to be in their new home and moving all over. 1 was sadly deceased, their shell had gotten broken during shipping. I sent in a message and the seller sent me another. I'm happy to say that it arrived in perfect condition! The first 2 are so pretty. One has a yellow shell (and the snail is the COOLEST white with neon orange!) the 2nd has a darker shell (the snail itself is PURPLE/BLUE with neon orange.) I was so happy!!! The 3rd one took some time to see it. When I first put it into the tank it FLIPPED OVER A ROCK and dug into the gravel. It was incredible to watch. While it doesn't come out during the day much it is VERY active at night. It also has a yellow shell but it's purple/blue!The only downside is the shipping in my opinion. I don't feel that the words "LIVE FISH" in bright red letters on the box protected my little snails at all from people who don't care and are rough with the box. I truly believe all 3 original snails should have arrived safe with the packing, inner container, and heat pack the seller provided.

Love these snails!
I've ordered two different times and have a total of 9 mystery snails from this place. ALL 9 arrived healthy, alive, and in a timely manner. All 9 snails are thriving! I LOVE the variety of colors, sizes, and healthiness of these snails. They're clearly well cared for. I'll order again for sure in the future.

Arrived alive but didn't live that long.
I ordered these snails from Generic last year in September. The colors I received were blue, black and chestnut (also known as albino). All three snails had some erosion on their shells. The blue one also was very inactive, and I assumed this was the snail's personality, but he died a month after arrival. The chestnut snail died in December. Her calcium deficiency was the least severe of the three, so it surprised me when she passed. The black one did live until the middle of February of this year. His shell erosion was pretty awful, and got worse over time despite the pH being 7.6, dKH of 12, and dGH of 8, and me really going to great lengths to acclimate him to a calcium rich diet. What I will say is that he had a wonderfully adorable personality. It's a shame he couldn't have lived longer.Based on photos that others have shared here, and based on my experience with snails from this breeder, I get the impression that they don't have the best genetics and are not kept in tanks with water parameters to meet their shell's needs. It doesn't seem like they have the best diets either, based on the shell conditions.

I love them!
I've always wanted mystery snails but could only find nerites in my area. This was a pretty good deal so I took a chance and I'm so glad I did. They're so much fun. The stars of the tank. The blue and brown ones are a little bigger, the gold one is a baby. I let them wake up in a dish for a while and then acclimated it to the water. One was up right away but I was afraid for the others. I ended up just placing all 3 in the tank and within minutes they were up exploring. They are hilarious! Climbing on everything; plants, ornaments, each other. The fish are really only interested in their algae wafers. I would definitely recommend this seller!

Arrived alive despite cold weather
I ordered snails by mail as a last resort because I was having difficulty with my local pet store. I paid very close attention to the weather and placed my order while there was a good stretch of mild temps. However, processing took a week and the snails were not shipped out until the weather had drastically changed and they had to travel through a snow storm! The day they were delivered, they sat in my mailbox in 28-degree temps. Thankfully I was home, and was able to get them out and warmed up fairly quickly. They were double-bagged with insulation in the box, but no heat pack. I floated the bag in my tank water to bring the temperature up, then I released the snails into a quarantine tank and put an algae wafer nearby. Within 30 minutes, the first snail was moving, and within 4 hours, all 3 snails were moving and confirmed to have made the journey alive. I received a large blue snail, a golden-brown snail, and a small black snail. All of the snails were larger than I was expecting, but they seem healthy and have good appetites. I gave a rating of 4 stars instead of 5 stars because I felt like a little more attention should have been paid to the weather before shipping the snails. I am very happy to have 3 live snails, but I was so worried about their well-being during the shopping and process and that’s more stress than I need.

Alive and well!
I was worried that they wouldn't survive because of how cold it is out but luckily all 3 did! The white one is super pretty and the two brown ones blend in with my tank so all the kids in my daycare have a blast searching for them! Definitely worth it! (Jan 2023)They all died (Oct 2023)

Love my mystery snails.
I’d never really thought of snails as having much of a personality, just things in the background doing their thing to help with maintenance. Not these guys. One is very shy and the other two will start racing toward my hand if I’m holding something like a algae wafer. Something else that shocked and surprised me…. They mated and attached clusters of eggs on the interior hood of the aquarium. Kinda freaked me out at first, had never seen them before and didn’t really know what they were. (Enter Google & YouTube) A few well meaning YouTubers said to carefully detach them and float them. The ones I did that with never hatched. I’d left one clutch of eggs on the interior hood; and those hatched. They grow somewhat quickly. I knew I had too many, so I shared the wealth and shared several juvenile mystery snails with friends.I’m looking forward to their next mating season! lol
