WMF Nortica 5-Piece Stainless Steel Flatware Place Setting, Service for 1

This was on our bridal gift registry and we received 8 place settings. We were married 10 yrs. ago so it goes to show you how timeless it is. They still look like new, and I haven't grown tired of them. Now that our family has grown we need more sets so I was excited to find it here at a price that is lower than the store. But its a better value when you can get it with no shipping.

Perfectly weighted and style of silverware. I am very particular when holding utensils and it is great in all aspects. Love the width of the neck very comfortable to hold. Only huge concern, it scratches easily over a few months and the shiny part looses the shiny finish and looks dull and depressing...

Very confuse! The words above sometimes say 18/10sometimes say 18/8. I got the 20 pes. 18/10 on the box and 18/8 on the plastic bags of each flatware. Maybe all is fake. They are not mark on the flatware. Which one is true? I worry about the quality

I recently ordered 8 sets of the Noritica to replenish the incredible number of missing flatware pieces from our set....we have no idea where the flatware went to but we hope it is being enjoyed. We have theories about our children, nanny and picnics at the park but that is another story. My wife and I originally received this set as part of our engagement celebration 14 years ago. We had chosen the pattern during the adventure of going through Crate and Barrel with the registeer gun and shooting whatever item we wanted. I recall when we first saw this set we liked it immediately. Over the years we have enjoyed using this set and it has stood up well....to an infinite number of falls to the floor and occassional trips into the disposal. The only thing I would note, and did not realize it until we received our 8 new place settings, was that the shine on the top part of the flatware faded and scratched...blending in more with the brushed silver finish. Again I would not have realized this if we had not purchaged the new pieces....and after 14 years of daily use I don't know if I could expect more. I would definatley recommend this product to others....just make sure to keep better tabs on the flatware than we did.PS I also searched all over the internet for various places to purchase this flatware and found this site to have the best price.

I bought a complete set of this flatware in the early 1970s. It is now worth much more than I paid for it. I know, because I have had to replace a few pieces. The sleek minimalist mid-century design and the sturdy stainless construction has withstood the test of time.

Bowls shaped forks, flat gracefully and artfully designed handles. Fits easily in the dishwasher. Tried one setting, then bought serving set and now buying 8 more settings.

The pieces are well balanced and just the right size. Had the set for about a year and washed it countless times and it still looks brand new. I like the simple look of the set and it's the best looking set I found.

I ordered two place settings. One place setting arrived without the fork. Quality control was lacking.The return process was too cumbersome to bother with, since it was a Christmas gift which had already gone home with the recipient.
