My dog cannot get enough of your products. They are amazing..
My eight-year-old Pomeranian is not a picky eater by any means but his stomach is very picky and he will throw up anything that has a hint of fat or heavily processed ingredients. He cannot eat regular dog food or regular dog treats. I really have to be careful with everything he eats or he will throw up nonstop. He never throws up this food unless he already had tummy issues that morning. It’s easy to use and store and take with me anywhere without it taking up a lot of room or needing refrigeration. I am so happy to have found these products and I know that they’re so good for my puppy dog.

Human grade
Perfect food topper for both of my dogs. They are both picky eaters and I was searching for a healthy food topper and found this one. It’s easy to make and my dogs seem to love it. I mix 1/4 of if with a little warm, not hot, water until it starts to look a bit like baby food, then mix their kibble in. I like that human grade ingredients are used in this food and that it works really well for both of my 68 and 73 lb dogs. Recommend it for picky dogs and people who are looking to change their dogs diet to a healthier one.

Thin Metal Wire Found In Food!
We purchased a 10 lb box of HK Chicken & Duck dog food and have fed my small/medium sized dog (Corgi) about half the box so far. *Luckily*, my dog happened to bring it to my attention that there was metal wire in his food as I was putting down a fresh bowl of water next to him. He was finished eating his food, but kinda poking at something trying to decide if he should eat it. I picked up the bowl and noticed it was a curly piece of thin, metal wire in his bowl! Now, I HAD actually seen something curly in one of the scoops that I had put into his bowl while preparing his food, but it was covered in powdered food and looked like a celery string or other vegetable string... so I didn't think anything of it and thought it was part of a dehydrated vegetable. I also didn't see it while adding water to his food and mixing it up... he takes a decent amount each meal being 37 lbs, so the wire was likely covered up with food as I mixed it around and added his supplements.I have attached pictures that include the lot number and expiration date just in case anyone else has the same food and lot. (I pulled the piece of wire apart a bit and manipulated it while inspecting it before taking the pictures. It was a little more curled up when initially found in the food.)Gourmet GrainsChicken & DuckLot: 3-3234A1Best By: 02/20/2026I have to say that I have 3 dogs and all 3 are currently eating Honest Kitchen varieties. Now I'm concerned about what potentially dangerous thing could be swallowed with their food! I do have another dog that is not nearly as cautious and he would have just eaten that piece of wire without a thought! Again, we're so lucky that the dog that ended up with the wire in their food is the one cautious enough to eat around it, spit it out and inspect it further before ingesting!

Don’t pass it up because of the powder, make frozen treats!
We fed our young Frenchton this food for close to a year. We chose it because it’s human grade and seems to have clean ingredients. It does seem high-quality and almost has a slightly sweet cereal smell. She liked it and ate it fine but did not LOVE it. I will say the reviews on here that say it turns to powder is no joke. I’m guessing this is because it doesn’t have added binders holding it together. But it’s definitely not a negligible amount of powdered food in the bottom of the bag when it’s gone and for the price seems very wasteful. But! I added water to the powder and used a silicone mold to turn it into little dog treats (just using the powder and water nothing else). It made a ton and we froze them. Our pup loves them more than the food so we did not end up having to waste any of it. We only switched because she just seemed kind of “meh” on the taste and given the lack of variety in her diet, wanted to find something that she was more excited to eat.

Best dog food around
Hands-down the best dog food around with our French bulldog, noticed within a couple of months no more problems regurgitating food and bathroom quality is perfect.

Will continue to buy.
Dogs love it & it saves me from having to cook every part of their meal. I mix it into their homecooked meals to make sure they hit their needed calories. Only wish they had smaller options of dehydrated food, boxes half the size would be great. I would love to mix it up without having to spend so much.

Mixed Feelings
3.5 stars - On paper, this is a great product. I really like the ingredients listed as well as the ease of preparing a meal. However, the price is very high. I was able to find a comparable product for much less. And although my dog loved the taste and was excited to eat his meal, this consistently gave him diarrhea. He does not have a sensitive stomach and this continued well after the introduction phase and even with pumpkin added. He did not have diarrhea with the competitor. Unfortunately, this didn’t work for my household, but I do think this is a great option for others.
