This is a really nice mat. There is a warning sticker about letting the thing air out before you use it; they are right, it stinks. So I put mine out on the balcony overnight to air out and the smell was gone! The mat protects my island top when I'm working on a project and it is really easy to clean with a damp cloth. Highly recommend!

I've used this prevent possible burns to my wooden desk and it fulfilled this role beautifully. Great for soldering use and practice

Great mat but I'm not a fan of how easily it attracts dust and other particulates. I know it is probably material property instead of design and construction, but I just want to note that it gets dirty very easilly.

Exactly as described. Good thickness and the size of workable area is large.I don't really have much else to say but it's worth it.

Would recommend if wanting to diy electronics keeps everything organized and screws don’t move around.

When you first get this, you’ll want to let it sit in the garage for a few days—it has a pretty strong odor out of the box. After some time, the smell fades and you’re left with a slight silicone scent. Once acclimated, though, this thing is fantastic. The design is excellent—it’s huge, giving you plenty of workspace, and the built-in magnet is impressively strong. I was worried I’d lose screws on the black surface, but most electronics screws are silver, so they stand out nicely. Overall, it’s a great addition to any workspace!

Ive used this mat for a varity of projects, and it has held up with everything. It can be a bit annoying to clean at times, but besides that I love it and will continue to use it
