So securely packaged it might be hard to release the doll
The doll is lovely, from hat to shoes. Be careful snipping and undoing all the securing straps and binders, especially around the legs, because she is wearing hose with seams up the back. I accidently snipped part of the netting of the stockings.I am going to replace her moulded string of pearls. It doesn't look very nice, just like some moulded plastic. I have some little pearl beads that will be much nicer.The doll stand is sort of unfamiliar looking to me -- appearing to support the doll by the crotch. Her shoes don't quite reach the base. So I'll replace that.All in all, a nice, youngish version of Eleanor Roosevelt that I am happy to add to my collection.

Nice doll and we are collecting some in this series.
Was happy it came in its original shipping box from Mattel and then that box was in another box. It made it so the doll arrived in perfect condition in a perfect box. I passed on one in town as the box was damaged. Eleanor Roosevelt is one of the women my daughter has studied and is interested in. We visited the National Park sites in NY and saw what we could since most things still closed for pandemic. Compliments our trip.
