EXCELLENT PRODUCT, BOQUERONES LIKE IN SPAIN!!
Hello, I don't understand why some people insist on leaving reviews without having any idea about the product they are buying. I am from Spain; I have been living in the United States for several years and it is very difficult to find good quality products from Spain and the way they are made there. I have nothing to do with the people who sell or market this product and I don't usually leave reviews either, but today I bought some BOQUERONES again TODAY and I read the reviews that some people left about them and I was outraged, so I feel forced to write the following: These BOQUERONES are the best BOQUERONES I have eaten in this country and equally the best ones you eat in Spain.

These white anchovies are soooooo good. Yes
These white anchovies are soooooo good. Yes, expensive, but I'd pay a little more for good taste and what goes into my stomach than eat cheap food that's not very good. They taste really good and you get a decent amount of anchovies that would last a while. The package was sturdy, the ice was not cold when it got here, but the anchovies did not get affected by that. Just by themselves, with crackers, or with cherry tomatoes. They are everything white anchovies should be.

Not bad, not great
The package is a bit smaller than I expected from the photo, making it quite a pricey product. However, it would still be worth it for me if the taste was spot on. I do like the vinegar bite of these, just like in Spain, but the texture was a bit off for me. A bit mushy almost, not as firm as I like them, and with an average aftertaste. The product was room temperature when it arrived but seller assured me that was not a problem (it was well packaged and the transit time was normal so it should not have heated up until maybe just before I brought it inside). Still not sure if this could have contributed?

These are very tasty but overpriced
I'm a big fan of anchovies. Typically I buy the ones packed in salt for addition to sauces and nicose salads or snacks. I decided to try white anchovies on a whim after loving them at a Spanish restaurant. The are very good - I do enjoy the flavor. I noticed at Whole Foods they sell white anchovies from Morocco for less than half the price of these. I haven't tried them yet so maybe this is a bit preemptive. I don't mind paying more for something if it really is better. I will update this once I've tried the other variety.

Excelente Quality
Customer service was great since shipping got delayed and I couldn't eat the original order. Replaced quickly and they are as good as any boquerones en vinagre available in the bars in Madrid. Muchas gracias por traerme un cachito de casa, a mi casa.

At this moment I just received my order, great shipping time, packaging was great and we'll say came already chilled with ice packs and insulated pouch, some will say a little pricy but shipping and packaging is worth it,, the anchovies them self are sooooo!!! good I'm having some right now in my martini... look forward to using them in several different recipes,,, if you like quality I think I found it I will buy again and recommend you try them
